C1 on the Slide!!

ok, so i was part of the big 'C1 is on the slide' drama, and just found out that this site existed. i didnt believe it before i actually came here and saw that it does. i left because i hated my job. it sounds like you all do to. What i dont get is that we all would put in 50+ hours a week and then what, you guys come home and read and type more about Enterprise???? give yourself a break. why dont you put more of you're efforts towards finding a new job so you can stop bitching about this one. we're all what, between 20-30, dont let life slip you by hating what you're doing. change it. and go work for a company that doesnt have a website like this out there. just a thought.

And the slide continues. Get rid of a manager with more personality, salesability and heart than anyone in C1 and replace him with an ESQI nightmare. WM was an ESQI giant, with an ASS for an ASSMAN. Good Ridance BR.

Ahh yes. Haven't we determined long, long ago that this is the C1 way? Personality gets you fired. Don't stand out. Sit down and fill our your logs, blogs, charts, graphs, reports, and hr sheets. Be sensitive and near invisible, but fully compliant and you will go far in the company. Unfortunately, that translates into a limp and lifeless existence.

Sometimes it's kind of fun to vent. You know, like when you see that ex girlfriend of yours and she's put on a few cheesecake induced pounds? Sure, you're right, nothing to dwell on, but isn't it at least amusing and worthy of sharing?

Enterprise is like a fat ex girlfriend who you never really liked too much in the first place, but thought to yourself "Hey, I'm in for a few pokes if nothing else." And then it's done. Over. But still a source of mild amusement.

So yes, it is unhealthy to obsess and get too involved, but there aren't too many weeks that go by without me at least checking in to see what's kicking from a broad range of perspectives.

Obviously letting go of WM wasn't such a bad move. People might love him but the numbers speak for themselves. A one month 10 point swing in ESQI. How can you argue with that, good ridance.
