Well there is obviously a problem if turnover is that high. You should not be saying well since other retail businesses have high turnover then its ok for us to have the same. I am sure that other companies do not waste the same amount of money on training new employees as Ecars does.

Recruiters etc would have you believe that this is a tremendous career opportunity but there isn't a lot of difference between working at Enterprise and other strictly retail-customer service jobs you could get with a high school degree and the money's probably not much better.

Pure retail that pays better? Tell me one... Tell me a retail company that pays a 25 years old manager 45k/year... How about area manager with 30 and 90k-100k/year...

And how many hours do they need to work to make this amount?? How many weekends do they waste away at the office doing A/R's and other garbage?? Whats the point of making that amount of money if you never get personal time to enjoy/spend it. They talk about work/life balance, do they even know what that means? Its doubtful.

Area Manager not making 90k-100k/year? "Just" making 60k/year? I am "sorry" to inform you, but the "old" days are back, because I know of at least one Area Manager that is making exactly what was said (90k-100k/year), since I have seen this pay-cheque. Unless he is getting something under the table and getting paid by ENTERPRISE RENT-A-CAR.

Sure the "old days" may be back...but for how long...the big filp on the large suv's will not go one for much longer...Sure it is one or two comission cheques....big deal....wait until flip goes away...then the $45k/year base that the area guys get will seem real again. Don't fool yourself DG, take it from an ex c2 manager who was there for 6 years...I'm pulling 5k/month..that is BASE with a real top 100 employer in canada..commission, a PAID car allowance(one that I don't PAY $360/month to get a shitty cargo van, because that is the last car on the lot) and awsome benefits, are all on top of that ... PLUS ....I work M-F...8AM-5PM..So to all of you ECRAP brainwashed fuckers that think that working 70 hours a week to make 50k/year is what a career is all about...I say SUCKER.
