I hate to say it but you let them down. You let C2 down, and ERAC (who has been so good to you over the years) down also. Most importantly, you let yourself down. When is enough, enough? What are you trying to prove and to who? If it is about hanging on to the only job which you know, we can understand. But don't you want success for yourself and who you are. Prove to everyone that it you, everyone else was wrong and you are effective and the best darn Manager around.

By being distant and tyrannical, by not listening to your employees, by not taking into account market conditions that are destroying C2 -- i.e. paying university grads 11 bucks an hour to run around like monkeys, catering to cheap pricks who are renting cars for 14 bucks per day.... gee, how come we aren't generating OP OR retaining staff? Maybe because we're pushing "ON TO 10K" when we don't have the staff OR the market share to run even 6 or 7K with any level of sustained profitability... then again, more cars on the road equals more flip dollars, the problem is you still need to RENT those cars once or twice before selling them
