| Obviously there is a reason why you are still getting up in the morning and going into work. I will tell you the real world sucks. I am only assuming that you have just recently graduated from some post secondary institute..and his is your first real job? This position is about working hard, developing managerial skills and abilities..and taking the opportunities it has to give you..if you work for it. Nothing in life is free..nothing great comes without some sacarfice. This position can sometimes suck really bad, but so does everything else in life..and that it what it is. I believe you have already made up your mind..so what is stopping you? It seems to me that you are looking for the right answer...and looking for someone to say.."This is why you should stay" I don't understand why people talk about quitting..then stay. Why not just leave? Do yourself a favour..your obviously not happy. Why would you spend this time in your life unhappy? You only get to do it once..so do it right. If you want to feel what success is really about..then you should be a little more positive about the things that you can do..and the things you can control. No one is stopping you..but you. And please do not make fun of those that are (as you think) less fortunate because they did not complete highschool...(as you might think) and work in a dealership. Some of the most successful people I know work in dealerships...and own bodyshops. That kind of success comes from passion and dedication..and lot of hours plus hardwork. Good luck..and I hope you find what it is you are looking for in life..maybe this company can provide that for you...or maybe they can't? |

Yeah, the reason people still get up in the morning is called bills. Do you consider yourself successful? Sorry, but you rent cars. Don’t tell me you sat in college to scrub mini-vans or taxi people around for a living. It also sounds like you believe Enterprise is a decent place to work for. If this is your opinion, you might consider questioning your own real world work experiences . . . not others. Understand that Enterprise, which is nothing more than a low-paying internship, should be used solely as a spring board into another job. Perhaps you’ve Bought-In on the E-dream. I call it the “E-dream” because you have to be asleep to believe it. I agree that dedication is crucial if you want to succeed in life. And before you say it, I also agree one can make lots of money working for Enterprise. But that’s true with any place. A fair person would have to agree with that, right? I’m sure people working in McDonalds’ corporate offices make loads of money. But who wants to flip burgers for 17 years in the slim hopes of maybe (and that’s a pretty BIG maybe) pulling down a six figure income. Here’s an analogy. You can buy lotto tickets everyday for years, but it doesn’t mean you’re gonna win. It’s the same principle, just different circumstances. So, hard work and time should really be invested in an enterprise (no pun intended) worth investing in. And let’s say you make 50-60k a year with Enterprise. Sounds pretty decent. But then you look at the number of hours put in . . . plus the numerous other headaches that place provides. Then, looking at your paycheck, you realize that your busting your balls and not really getting much in return. That’s why ERAC is constantly pumping propaganda into its workers: They know most people will leave, so they try and sell the benefits of the company. But, sadly, the cons heavily out-weigh the pros. I sincerely hope Enterprise isn’t your final destination in life. It would be a shame if you set such low goals for yourself. |

| Your correct. Enterprise is not my final destination...nor is it my final decision in life. BUT it is my current position at this time. I consider it to be a good opportunity to provide me with the skills that i need to develop in order for me to be successful in my future endevours. To answer your further statements. You must set low goals for yourself as well considering that you work here. The difference between you and me is I see the positive form the negative. I have alot of life and work experiencing to know the difference. I don't expect you to know that..seeing how you know nothing about me. Please be sure to not question my backgroud as you know nothing about it. Be sure to understand that money is not the be all and end all. I do not need a job at this time to pay my bills. My money works for me..not the other way around. I know what iti is like to get up and go to a job because you need to pay the bills....I choose never to never live that way again. Take what you have and make the best of it. If you are not happy...then change your circumstances..make the decisions that are best for you. You don't need a reason to quit your job. The only reason should be about your happiness...thats a good enough reason to leave I do not gamble...I take risks...and accept the outcome. Learn from my mistakes....and never blame anyone for my misfortune as it was my life choices that brought me here today. |

| No bills? He lives with mommy and daddy. You are not workng for Enterprise and "investing" all of your income to live off of. Your choice to make your money work for you must have been moving back in with you parents. People like you are the ones who this company lives for. They will work you like a dog and hold a bone in front of your face for years, only to cast you away in the end because you "just don't have what it take". Look at the bozos that have held their jobs for as long as they have, MJ, GP, AO, and you will see that it is not the quality of work you do or the effort you put in, it's who you sleep with and how well you kiss the ass that is put in front of your face! |

Now for the barrage: If you have your money working for you, why stay with Enterprise? If you had work loads of experience, why did you agree to work at Enterprise? If you don’t have to worry about bills . . . I think you know what I was gonna ask next. Now, I can’t prove you don’t have excess cash in stocks, bonds, etc. But I (as I’m sure the others who read our postings will agree) have a hard time swallowing the “fact” that you are financial set in life and are working here basically as a hobby. It just doesn’t add up. You seem complacent with the company. And that is foolish. When I worked there, all the “Green” people (they were few in numbers, thank god) would say basically what you’re saying. “If you don’t like it, leave!” or, my favorite “If you can’t hack it here, get out!” They were basically programmed monkeys. Like I said in my first post it’s not that easy to just up and leave. First off, you need another job lined up. That’s hard to do when you work 55-60 hours a week. It took me forever to get outta that hellhole. And you need to be asking WHY everyone (nation wide) is bitching instead of complaining about the ruckus they’re making. When you see smoke, there is usually a fire below it. The fact you don’t seem to mind tells me that A) you’ve bought-in on the e-crap, or that B) you’re essentially clueless about what takes place in your work environment. So from your posts, I’d say I’ve got more on the ball than you. After all, if I didn’t have to work, as you suggested that you don’t, I sure as hell wouldn’t slave away at a shitty corporation. And before you start spewing more of your pseudo-philosophical junk, I also doubt you’re there just to gain Life Experience. It is my belief that you have no money, no future, and no clue. |

"My money works for me, not the other way around." Hey shitty pants, if you work here, then you ARE working for your money. That statement makes zero sense. So what do you do all day? Pick your ass and wipe it on the counter? Hey, I've got a million dollars in my pocket! See. It's that easy to say some bullshit on a website. If you do have any money, which there is a 99% chance you don't, please . . . for the Love of God, tell us why you are here. My suggestion to you: Lay off the drugs, amigo. They appear to be making it difficult to distingush between fiction and fantasy. And please, get out of your parent's house. They've already {laugh} raised you. I mean, it's embarrasing enough that their child rents cars for a living . . . but then for you to be living with them as well. It's just too much. |

| from the sounds of it you are involved in Amway or some other form of multi level marketing, the "My money works for me" statment is something I hear constantly from associates that are involved with them. Why continue to work at Enterprise? Do you really feel washing cars, duping people into purchasing something they need, and feeling on edge about job security are valuable skills? I think not. |
