Default Hey, what about vacation days?

ok, so i was thinking today about how it makes absolutely no sense that i do not get vacation days or pay in lieu of vacation for my first year at enterprise. Is vacation not 4 percent min. on top of earnings. and when i've worked PART TIME for companies, they just pay that out to you in Mula, not time. I was just reading through the posts and saw that that was meantioned a while back, with no clear response....

Hey, HR if your watching, whats the answer??

I am not HR, but I think we get paid vacation pay. The drivers do. I'm sure we do too.

Yes, vacation is paid
There would be no point to giving you the "benefit" or vacation if it wasn't.

I'm not in HR either, but really, do you have no clue? You have to work a full year at any job to get vacation. If you quit before that, then you get 4% vacation. Did you not pay attention when you got hired?

WRONG! PROFESSIONAL (meaning non-enterprise) companies give you several weeks vacation effective day 1. If one was so inclined one could take vaca the second week on the job.

Its just stupid old Enterprise that offers the skimpy vaca benefits

You stand corrected.

In Ontario, an employer is not required to give you even one day of vacation. The only job that gives you "several" weeks of vacation is a teacher. If you hate Enterprise that bad, go teach 3rd grade. You should fit right in with the intelligence level you'll find there.
