| I wanna know why the fuck this thread is getting so many views and no posts.? It's obvious there's a ton of people reading this thread. So why have the posts died all of a sudden. ARM's, GRM's, WE KNOW YOU ARE WATCHING. Why don't you speak up and defend yourselves. It's all annonymous here, nobody can find out who you are and despite recent popular 'threats', you can't lose your job. If somebody tried bashing what I did at work or how I ran my business, it would be go time... unless I knew I was wrong. It's like getting into a boxing match and not only are you not throwing punches, but your not even getting your hands up to defend yourself. Grow a pair! |

| Funny how the guys who have so many excuses to not promote, not give a raise, not let an employee quit, can't seem to come up with any defense when their power is taken away. Can't fire somebody who has already quit or left. Can't threaten somebody that doesn't care about promotions anymore. That leaves you with nothing and truly proves how useless you all are. Keep talking tough to your current staff... as long as it makes you feel better about yourself. We'll all continue to wait for you to defend yourself |

| So how many managers and assistant managers are walking after this holiday season, or before this holiday season???? Don't you want to not walk in to a shitty, car filled, freezing washbay... you could sleep in and spend some time with your family???? ... How are those commision cheques everyone???? NEGATIVE I'm assuming... I could guarantee you that Andy Taylor will be having a great holiday though... 30 more days until you may... or may not gross more than a couple thousand for the month... again... I could tell you one thing... it's very very nice getting a guaranteed pay cheque, knowing your pay... not the bullshit games... especially for the people who run 50 car branches... how are all your efforts doing... even if you ran your business profitably... your still fucked by the man!!!!! |
| |||
| WOW, flip this month is probally gonna be around negitive 100 bucks a car for the group. Theres gonna be no OP this month for anyone, no matter how well you run a branch. What a way to start your christmas shopping. Looks like people being paid hourly will make more than salary. This is how it should really be seeing as the hourlys do all the work anway. |

Enterprise may have it's faults (and it does!), but it does have one of THE BEST management training programs in the buisness world -- so no one can use the "lack of training" excuse. You'll see when you finally leave. (and I'm talking about branch manager and higher. They fly you two two extensive training courses, plus yearly confrences for each department -- if you can't come up with ideas to increase your performance it's because you're an idiot or lazy, not for lack of resources). |

| Although I agree with you 100% about the training programs, (they are second to none) The rest of your arguement is that of an area manager, and 100% untrue. If I had to run a fleet of SUV's, even if my market warranted it, I wouldn't be allowed because "it's too costly". So instead of growing my business properly by utilizing proper fleet management, I'm stuck trying to convince my corporate customers that I only have 7 SUV's to get me through the winter and they'll have to settle for a G6. Or, if I locked down a huge account that required 20 midsize cars every week, i wouldn't be allowed to sit fat for a day because 'my occupancy for the month is 88%'. Your arguement has no validity. If I could run 'my' business the way I saw fit, and failed, then you would have a point. The difference is, you have to run 'your' business the way ERAC see's fit. It has nothing to do with "utilizing tools" |

| In addition... who does your hiring out there... really??? Everyone talks about working so many hours and being short staffed... well let me ask how many people wanted to hire out there, and your area managers and group rental managers didn't allow it, citing, whatever excuse that they cam up with for that day... like "it's only a bandaid, it won't solve the problem, do you know how much it costs, were looking hard, recruiting has interviews coming down the pipe, we'll hire someone soon.... etc." In my situation, I asked for a raise while we were so short staffed (after having 3 candidates denied that I wanted, for whatever reason again) and their response was "that doesn't make sense, to give you a raise, then dial you back when your staffed???" But the joke was on me because until the day I quit I still wasn't staffed... And the ultimate irony is that, regardless of them having full control of this area of your business, when I had to fire an employee as a branch manager, my group rental manager asked who he was, what he looked like, couldn't remember him... and he intereviewed him!!! Anyone want to take a wild guess on who this balding, schronny, slimy, slithering GRM is??? Remember... it always has, and always will be Andy's business... what you are told to do, is coming from a higher place... and now with the used car market in the shitter, and remaining in the shitter, they will through all sort of $100 bonus goals at you, to keep you quiet... Just leave this cult organization... it is the healthiest this for you... |
