Thank you for the information about the overtime pay and the breakdown of how that works.
it's not the worst job out there...i might even recommend it to certain people IF they realize going in that it's not gonna be a career, just a 6-12 month deal untill you find something better.
but the money is better than mcdonalds, not by much but it is better.
your take home will be 900 every two weeks

Only problem with accepting the job is finding "time" to look for another job. When does someone have time to look for a job when they're busting their ass from 7-7 five days a week, and then half the day on Saturdays?

People keep saying "take it for the short term". I 100% disagree. You'll get stuck and then be cursing yourself for being "so stupid". Just skip over this company and take another job wherever, is the best advice I can give. This is not the only company out there. Try not to get desperate and believe this is your only opportunity. Best of luck!

I am glad you don't want to be one of those who gets stuck at erac.. The training is GREAT, the people I work with are AWESOME, PAY SUCKS, HOURS SUCK!!! Upper Management is all about their own paycheck, and they are always willing to find someone else to work more and pay them less. I remember at one of the meetings, Rebuck and Tim said to one of the Area Managers

"This is usually their first job out of school, they don't know what work is all about, so it you give them a ton of work, they don't know the difference. So just tell them to be more "organize", "you can do it", "every job has its stress" if they ever compliant""

There are tons of jobs out there with better hours and better pay.. Either get the experience and get out or be stuck and tell yourself "It's not that bad of a job" everyday...

out...

I left this company over 5 years ago. Looks like assistants and managers are making less money now. The managers used to start off at 4% to max 7.5%. The assistants started off with 2% to 4%. The percentages depended on the size and profitability of the branch that you are assigned to.

Now, the managers properly max out at 4% and assistants max at 2%. The base pay is also properly the same as 5 years ago. So overall, people getting promoted now would make a lot less and work just as long if not longer as branches are understaffed, resulting in people working longer hours.

It's time for the current employees to ask for higher base salary and increased commision %. Right now, it is the upper management making hugh dollars while working people before them to a breaking point. No life, no friends, beer and nachos at company functions, upper management encouraging fellow employees to backstab each other. What a job!!!

Default don't believe everything you read

BTW, MT base pay has increased twice in the past 5 years. Our top managers make $50-$65k per year and MT's make about $33k in their first year not inclouding performance bonuses. FOR ALL YOU WHO ARE READING THIS OUT THERE .. BE CAREFUL! You should talk to someone who can actually break all this down for you (pick up the phone, call your ARM or someone in HR) & they have a worksheet that will explain the pay calcuation & bonus structure. If you are successful and hard working you can and will do well at Enterprise. For that person who turned down the job b/c of what they read on this blog .. it's your loss. Enterprise isn't for everyone but if you are hard working, smart and dedicated, you can move up really quickly. Don't believe everything you read - keep in mind, most bloggers on this site are already disgruntled but can't seem to find a better job so they have to bitch and moan about how life isn't fair. Life isn't fair. Get over it and get to work!

Default Re: MT Pay (British Columbia)

Hi all,
First off, this ERAC company is not the only way to success. Upon quitting (for something much better- a job that pays 31.80 doing purchasing= much more responsibility and benefits) I was met with complete negativity. I never said one lame thing about the company, and they were basically like, " you will fail at anything else..." I can only say, why are there no billionaire managers? Do they own boats? Do they only shop at Moores? Have they ever heard of Dolce & Gabbana/Prada suits and real watches made by compaies like Audemars Piguet?, or is that just "gay" to them? Have they been to Dubai and seen real money? These people are mostly unattractive, no-lifers with ugly girlfriends. Many of them are completely without a social life. However, some are good and are making a go at it. Power to them... But it isn't about working "harder". To me life is about working smarter, and that means working less and making more. It's a no brainer. I feel like ultimately it is a state of denial there. They think they are Bay St./ Goldman Sachs (for you idiots these are places of money and real power in Canada) when they are more Wal Mart than anything. The people that buy into it should. They post those super lame replies with no logic, and fear-based mentality, because they know nothing else. Like Driscoll- the guy has been there for 17 yrs. He knows absolutely nothing. If he had a brain he wouldn't rub in his "italia" trip to people. What a cunt. That's like stepping on a Rolex in front of a sick homeless person (MT's being the homeless ones) and laughing. He is wearing horse blinders. If ESQI (stupid concept but great for people with no interest in things that matter in life) really matters to these idiots, then let them have it. They'll get fat and lame, and make about 60K and think they are big pimp'in. LET THEM HAVE IT. How can anyone have such a personal, vested interest in something that gives them no return (-$$$)? Only b/c they are idiots that think a basic pyramid-style theme will make them rich. Dumb. And they wonder why we mock???? This is my first post, and it is because I find them completely retarded. Not because I am tired, or weak or whatever, but because I think they are the lamest businesspeople ever. Reading those books? WTF??? Why don't they read some Chopra, or Warren Buffet, or fucing Paul Allen books- people with huge global business and real money, and quit the Safeway "How to be a real winner shit". It's fucking horseshit. And if Drew Paddon is out there- well, your colourful emails are so great! Do you do anything other than look terrible in cheap suits? Your cubicle is so spacious and huge, I almost feel like I am in Monte Carlo or Montenegro with Bond. Drew, your stories of working in Pizza Hut are shameful! Why admit it bro? Pizza Hut is full of fatties huney! Lot's of greasy pig bellies... You need to make more money and buy some counselling, so that your kids don't runaway too young.
I am so stoked I left, and have a new job. This post is fun, and I will gladly take my time (I often finish at 3pm now and still get paid for 8 1/2 biatch!) and write these in the sun. Remember the sun you ugly white whores??? Cna I get some cold sore action here or what?
