Default CARROT & DONKEY SCENARIO

Everything u lot are saying on this forum rings true for the whole of fcuking enterprise - nobody wants to go home on time, nobody is genuine and i feel it for the people that cant see it is just the carrot infront of the donkey - and that carrot is pulled further away by esqi etc when you get anywhere near it.

I think my main point is to forget promotion etc, all that bollocks cos it aint existing with ERAC, BUT we are getting a wage - look for something else and move on when you can!

Why do we work? For money. I repeat for money. Its not for fun, its not for career (that word is overrated - health, family and friends are all that matter in life - but we need money, so we work.) And why make work extra tough by buying into all this career and 'its your business' crap. It aint my business, its Andy Tailors.

Its a great forum, just discovered it.....but for all you people putting down things like 'so and so is a skinny bitch' etc - you are highlighting that ERAC has some sad barstards that work for them.

Exactly correct ! This is not my business its Andy Taylors. You know what bullshit line that your City and Area managers give you when they say if this was your business and you lost op you would have to write a cheque out from your own pocket !

Well yes if this was my business I would have to but on the flip side when every month we make you money why are we only paid a % rather then the whole nine yards?

you know why cause we only work for the company and this is not our business !

The other crap about "Oh you shoul dnot look at the flip cause thats a bonus"? What ever then why the hell do I get charged depreciation which is out of this world every month?

Fact is that flip money is actually owed to us so no favours there buddy !

Its all a big lie nothing else so stop fooling your selves and get your selves another job .... and this time guys work for a real company with true values

Glad to see someone has my mentality - it seems hard to find people at Erac that dont spout the classic - 'but its your business, its a great place to work, think of the prospects, its your future, if we listen good things will come' - but you see, thats the fcuking problem -

THEY DONT FCUKING LISTEN - THEY JUST PREACH!

And they preach regardless of time of day - central city meetings at 9pm, how the hell do they find the energy!

if it's my business, why am I forced to take on £8.50 rates? Why can't I just cherry pick the good stuff? Why do I have to work til 6pm every night, and accept that V3 corporate delivery which comes over at 5 to 4? Why can't I shape my future, chose that rates I want to put the cars out at and turn down deals which just do not make logical business sense?

After all, I'm the manager of my own business, right?

wrong, its only 'your business' if something goes wrong, or they are looking for a scapegoat, or just looking to get you out..... in reality you are just a low paid retail slave renting fucking cars for a living...i got out after 3 years and not a day too soon, i am earning more money, working less hours, drive a nicer car and most of all, i dont get brainwashed by my employer trying to hide how shit they are.!

Its like i said when i started this topic -if you buy into that career crap, it will drain you.

And that is not good for health.

And you know what makes me laugh about enterpirise - a CAR rental company - is that there is fcuk all training with regards to vehicle maintenance - i have met staff who dont know their oil filler cap from there bloody fuel cap! But it aint there fault, there should be training!

Right mate - i want to prove my point. Explain to me the following-

1) What is the difference between camber and castor?

2) With new V3 Trannys, how do you get the central locking working when it fails? (common fault)

3) With Vivaros, what causes the rear light clusters to not work?

4) If a car is started and run for about 5 seconds then switched off when its cold, why may it not start again? And what fuse should you mess about with to fire it up again.

And before you say - this is 'nothing to do with my business' - just think how much time you waste with AA and dealerships, crying about who sits on the car.

Im interested to see if you have a clue about any of them mate. But based on the fact you sound like a classic enterprise tit - i reckon you will google this lot. Itll show if you do anyway.
