Ah the memories! Worked for U2 under Don and Jason as BM, what a contrast. Don was probably the most stand up guy i ever worked with (he once paid me a ton for being his golf caddy!), and the job was really enjoyable back then Are their any employees in U2 enjoying thier job? If not dont worry folks just visit Micheal Page and with your experience you will be able to find something much better! I did. Although not many jobs require you to clean a car in four minutes flat. Any of you folks who have had a one 2 one with the Altminator will know he loves to use a long pause to force you to speak first? He will usually wait for 2 or 3 minutes in silence while sipping from his stupidly large coffe cup until he speaks! Does anyone know if he invented this approach to personal communication himself or was it something he read in a book? Tip, Call his bluff , what ever you do wait till he speaks! it unerves him something bad! My personal top ten U2 Goodfellas Don! Britt Nigel Bate Gareth Austin Nicky Smith Duncan Brown Maria Hatton Winfield Bash Kev I love cornhill williams

Can't compare the two really. Don - legend. Altman - legend only in his own mind.... Just trying to figure out who you are now.....! Clues?

Been ages since i last came on this site, cant believe how funny it still is over 2yrs since i left the big green e, Still recognise many names, must admit I actually enjoyed it myself! Must have been a sucker for punishment i think! Just read the thread on Traci and G.palmer! heard that rumor, proper old school stuff. Glad i left when i did as most of the characters had gone by then, What ever happend to the good old days like the rumors of Kip getting a BJ off his new MT in britts office? Or a certain MT being the first one to shag a porsche assistance customer? thats what i call going the extra mile! Don didnt teach that in his Dub class, winfield probably would have tho! Always had a gossip section in his meetings, usually the best bit! It appears mostly every one is so scared of big JA they dont have any fun I was a J number how about U?

A 'B' number! More clues - I already have my suspicions.....especially with that user name!

I know who your thinking off mate, me and Kev worked together a fair bit and also enjoyed the odd drink, did you ever sample his drinking game the dentist chair? B number that is proper old school mate, keep thinking along the lines of breed tho! and where kev made his name!

Altman was a waste of time....... Always came across as Mr Nice Guy.... but deep down was a nasty piece of work

Don was a stand up guy, especially when Slatterly tried to push me out and a lot of other people. Don saw through the bullshit and made sure that the deserving got their credit and the rest took their lumps. Altman has built a mediocre career based on kissing successful peoples asses, using the latest "catch phrase". His personality is nothing more than a characture of that latest popular TV character. If he had so much to offer he would have moved up an on like so many of the talents that started their careers at ERAC.

Rothman was certainly a good AM even for a septic. Batesy was totally nuts, and mutley was a good bloke just not the best man manager. don moore was a legend and kev was a great bloke when not totally pissed
