Re: Leyton "Mutley" Jordan Demoted Never thought that I would use this site, especially since I could not not be further from Erac if I tried, but the Leyton comments have pissed me off. I worked under Leyton for 3 years under all different roles from MT to BM. In that time I saw the "boss" leyton and the "real" leyton. Don't get me wrong I was not one of the drinking or footy pals, just someone who on a few occasions spent sometime with him outside my branch when i felt i could ask him what was really going on at ERAC. I too like most other people worked my ass off for little reward and my memories of ERAC are not the best.....BUT, one thing you must realise is that Leyton was not the cause of poor or no OP. If you think he didn't care about the state of his branches and staff morale you are all very much mistaken. There were very real contraints he operated in whilst being CM, and these were Jason; after all he was Leytons Boss and he pulled the strings. I know for a fact that Leyton had disagreements with Jason over certain issues in U2, but what could Leyton do at the end of the day other than suggest a different course of action. Just because you guys didn,t hear or see Leyton disagree or moan about the current state of affairs you must not just assume he was happy. At the end of the day Leyton wanted everyone to earn lots of money and live it up a bit, and not just for himself before it gets suggested. It wasn't to be and it appears that Leyton has found himself the target of ERACs failings as a company, but please believe me when i say..if Leyton could have had his way over certain things, life in ERAC "may" have been a little easier for all. Just to clarify...no i am not a member of Leytons family, or him, just someone who got a chance to speak to him one to one outside of my branch. And for the record I would not defend ERAC on any other issue as they generally deserve most of the criticism labelled at them, but leyton was and is a good guy. |
