Default Run your own business.

Another one of the lies used to lure new recruits in.

The fact of the matter is you'll spend 2 years working for about £6/hour, not seeing your family and doing carwash and housekeeping duties that even a school dropout would be paid more than £6/hour for doing. Then, when a BM gets totally sick of doing only what he's ordered to do, you get the glory of running your own business by becoming BM and getting to sit in weekly meetings and be told EXACTLY how to run your branch by an Area or City Manager.

No branch is run any differently to another and as an employee you simply move up the production line and "manage" your branch doing precisely the same tasks as all the other BMs.

If anyone can tell me how, as a BM, you make any decisions or exert any influence sufficient enough to say "I run my own business" then please feel free to disagree with me and post a reply to this.

i don't think anyone at any level outside corp SL peeps really run their own business...everything is dictated and mandated, even down to petty shit like the hair on your face or the color of shirt you wear.
