The point trying to be made with this ironic statement is that you're the type of person for ERAC because there's no way you'd demean yourself making tea for people.

I ask you though, which is more demeaning: making tea and photocopying or rolling round, dressed in a suit, in other people's dog hair, cigarette ash, spilt drinks etc while you hoover yet another car. Then trying to present a professional image to your next customer with your black shirt sleeves and filthy trouser knees.

I know which would make me feel the most demeaned.
