well it could just in theory be one person (doubt it), but there are a lot of u4 threads that have appeared recently. Did someone send the link out in their email as well ? (genuinely don`t know - its not my group, but someone did it to our emails)

over the last 6 months, the combination of low pay, long hours and ultimiatley Pete DeFrank (u4's GM) have meant that u4 have lost most level 3's and most level 2's. The hours have always been long, the pay has been low for at least 2 years, but people tolerated this because all things considered, it wasnt too bad. After PDF had been a gm for a while his 'style' (!) of management and his general lack of integrity began to trickle down through the ranks, for sometime the area managers in u4 acted as a boundary between PDF and the masses, and so his incompetence was obscured. Over the last 6 months, 4 area managers had left (out of 6), the head of HR has left, the head of remarketing has left, the head of loss control has left, these people acted as a dam wall, with PDF's unpleasantness, talentless, and dishonesty mounting up behind. when the dam wall went, the rest of U4 began to experience first hand what a total moron he is. every BM in u4 has a tale about how they have personally been lied to or treated like faeces by PDF, and so everyone takes a long hard look at their lives and realises that they could leave, earn more money and most of all- not be treated badly by a piss poor joke of a GM who should never have made it past the telephone interview. in a nutshell- that is why U4 are kicking off on this board!

Great Post! Spot on about the going's on in U4. Nobody is happy in the group! I will be out of there in a matter of days and I know many other people in U4 that are leaving shortly. I wish I'd never started at erac - what a fool I was!!! Take my advice, follow your instinct's when you see and hear things in the branch that don't seem quite right to you and leave straight away. I wish I'd got out months ago. I'm looking forward to a much happier and less stressful life without erac. Can't wait! No more bleeding green for a piss poor wage and a company who doesn't appreciate it's staff!

BW in U8 was always an absolute diamond to me - I always got on well with the guy, and whenever I had a problem he was always available to help (work and personal). In fact, it was probably the most difficult to tell him that I wanted to leave once I had decided to. He runs a fairly good ship, and I think this shows in their Balance figures....I always heard good things about GP in U3 too, and my previous GM, Tony Mckinnis, was great - although totally different to Brian. I guess I got lucky.

both of the above posts are bang on! u4 is in the bin, whilst continuing my job search today i found this advertisement- sounds great doesnt it?! "If you’ve ever had nightmares about spending years at university only to find a career where you’re forever in your boss’s shadow, waiting for instructions (1), and a pay rise (2), making tea rather than decisions, then have no fear, you’ll be safe with us. At Enterprise, we combine the opportunities of a huge, internationally successful car rental company, with a more personal, entrepreneurial approach that lets individuals stand out. Nationwide - Permanent - £14,000 to £19,000 (3) per year (life assurance, pension, private health)" key ;- (1) yeah- providing instructions is way beyond eracs capability. (2) oh yes- they arent kidding when they say there will be no waiting for a A payrise!!! (3) 19K!!! ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah ahahahahahahahahhahaahhahahahahahah. ha.

Saying U4 was in shock is the under-statement of the century. I hear PDF is currently making his way around all the branch's in U4, trying to convince everybody that erac is still the place to be! He's even doing contracts!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gosh - what a difference that will make to all the employee's he's screwed over in the last year! Good luck PDF, you'll need it!
