Is U4 really that bad?

I've noticed that most of the posts on the UK board seem to be from current and ex-employees from the U4 group. Is it really that much worse than the rest of the UK or are the people there just more vocal in voicing their dissatisfaction?

This is my first time on the site and i've not had chance to read the other posts that your refering to. It's funny that yours should be the first post I read as it pretty much perfectly sums up my views on the company. I work in U4 and its absolutely terrible. From what I can gather the pay and conditions are just about the worst in the country. When you break it down to an hourly rate, mt's could do better on the tills at the local supermarket, and its not much better as you progress. The U4 experience is ironically summed up on the new uk recruitment site, however its the description of the job you don't want that perfectly summs it up, sooner than the 'come alive' nonsense. I genuinely do hope the company is run differently in different groups, it cold be a great place to work, but at U4 it's badly let down by poor pay and over expectation from senior management

Not just U4. every group in the country has the same issues. you cannot escape from the fact that it just a bad company to be employed by.
