Someone at head office needs to sort the higher management out at U5 admin. Pete and Mark are never in the office, they are off at least 4 days every week - most of the time finding an excuse to play golf! They left all their work for Rhian (who was both their PA's) she has now left - good on her.

I came accross an invoice for a recent event by chance the other day. It was a £9k golf bill. We all know why this was really set up - not for marketing purposes - but for their pleasure. In any case £4k of this was spent on drinks and coaching lessons!! Im serious, the bill was itemised!

Wonder why you aren't hitting your OP this month guys? Pete and Mark fancy a jolly down the local Golf club, you don't mind covering the bill do you?!! Its worthwhile you know, we'll get a couple more deals come our way from these great dealerships each month!

It amazes me at their attitude towards staff. They are quite happy to pay us peanuts and they don't care about the high turnover. They obviously haven't been to a decent business school as they would know that this method appears to work to the fools eye. However, the amount of time, effort and money needed to get a new hire up to speed is guaranteed to be even more costly.

**UK99** start paying your employees more - then they wont leave, they will have more drive to work harder and then you will avoid spending hundreds of thousands of pounds on hiring events each year. For f**k sake, a McDonalds Manager gets £30k per year!!

If not, sooner or later every undergrad / graduate will know about this site through word of mouth and your recruitment drive will be left to the recruitment agents. Then they will add on their own £4k - so whats the difference??

He works hard and has beaten thousands (of fellow British grads) to be in the position he's in. Why? Anyone reasonable who knows MW knows that he doesn't 'play the game'. Works harder, does better, genuine with people. 99% of the people who have ever worked for him would agree.

well the area is doin better than it ever has so these guys must be doin something right, and i think its ppl who have left the company now realising what they've missed out on and regretting it, i've had trips to theme parks, go carting paint balling and numerous nights out all on the company within the last 6 months, how many other companies would pay for this kind of stuff i wonder??

Hmmm.... I wonder how you came across this bill ? Could it be that you must work in the accounts department at admin ? Thats the only reason you would have the itemised bill for the golf, it would have been sent directly there for payment... plus how do you know that Pete and Mark are never in the office unless you are always there to notice ?! I think I know who you are, Mr. B.O. !! Honestly, you make it so obvious !

My god your all paranoid!!! IF this is all true it takes the piss because for the guys in the branches its all 'cut costs' to the extent where it starts affecting our ESQi and it is total hypocritical of them if its true!
Theres so much wrong with this company, so my lying and deceit! Gotta say from the outside Enterprise seem like such a good company to work for until you witness it first hand and realise how much shit they contradict themselves with!!!

Guys THIS IS BO! I was told about this by the guys at work on our Christmas night out. I did not write that paragraph above and I don't have anything against MW or anyone for that matter.

Yes we receive invoices but they are passed through many people and end up in batches so anyone with queries can pull them up and out of the drawer! I didn't even see that one and to be honest it doesn't bother me. Like MW said, it wont really make a difference in the long term.
