Default I'm going to my attorney tomorrow

OK so I quit last week.
I left my keys, didn't take anything with me, not so much as a postie note.

Yet they have the audacity to take my paycheck OUT of my bank account!

The state I live in, this is ILLEGAL. Since admin is in a different state, they prob have no idea.

If they don't pay me ASAP I am entitled to attorney fees, court fees, plus DOUBLE my salary.

Bastards

I think when you opt for direct deposit you are de facto giving them the rights to make adjustments to your bank account. If you went with just getting a straight paper check the fact it has a signature on it makes it a legally binding document so they can't do shit. Have your attorney subpoena the company guidelines concerning payroll, if they did something against company policy then you have an open-and-shut case.

Good luck, frankly I'd seek backpay plus court fees, attorney fees, and punitive damages (I mean in the millions).

Forget millions, go for billions.

Well finally got my check yesterday in the mail.
Idiots sent me the paystub for the org check, and lo and behold, though the paper check was to be for the 2 weeks and 3.25 days, it was over $100 SMALLER

WTF

Got the appt for Monday with my attorney.

I told them, if they screwed with me, Id do so.

I am not the type to get angry, but I am FUMING at this company!

Forget the lawyer, you're not going to win and it costs way more. Just key every erac car you see on the streets for the next 20 years.

I like that advice. I also personally a fan of throwing a huge rock or brick through the window of an ERAC branch and then laugh the next day when the e-chimps assess the damage and try to cut corners to fix it.

Default ERAC screwed me over at my current job. Help!!

Can I sue ERAC since HR disclosed my all my writeups (and I mean faxed everything) to my current employer? I know I did not ask my current job to contact ERAC for a reference and now I got placed on probation at my current job because of them. I'll admit wrongdoing on my part for my writeups at ERAC but I thought our employee files were supposed to be confidential otherwise.

I find it hard to believe that a CURRENT job can put you on probation for something you did at your FORMER job. Something does not seem right about this......

ERAC supposedly "convinced" them that I did something that reflected badly on my current company, one of the writeups being I had a nervous breakdown after having a disagreement with my ARM.

Do I have a case or not?

Yes, and sue the hell out of them. Even make stuff up, like Kevin Spacey was going to do to his boss in "American Beauty". Tell everyone your ARM was going to blackmail you unless you performed sexual favors for him. Focus any guilt or blame on him.
