Earlier this month, the National Enquirer was reporting that Republican VP nominee, Sarah Palin, had an affair with her husband's former business partner.

In fact, the guy that Palin was accused of having an affair with, even filed an EMERGENCY motion to have his divorce records sealed in Alaska!!!!

Yea, because that's not suspicious right?

John McCain's camp even threatened legal action for the Enquirer meddling. But that didn't stop them, thankfully.

So what did the Enquirer discover?

That Palin did have an affair with an individual named Brad Hanson!!! That's her husband's former business partner.

They were both married at the time. And according to reports, three members of Hanson's family have already sworn - one by affidavit - that Palin and Hanson were having an extramarital affair!

Hanson owned a snowmobile dealership along with Palin's hubby, Todd, who got rid of the partnership after hearing stories about the affair, which allegedly took place back in 1996.

And, despite denials from Palin and Hanson, Jim Burdett, a Hanson family insider, has opened up about the family's secret and even passed a rigorous polygraph test in an effort to reveal the truth - that the affair did take place.

Burdett says, “I’ve known about Brad having had an affair for a long time, but it wasn’t until just recently that I learned his affair was with Sarah Palin. Sarah was elected mayor of Wasilla, Brad became a city council member in the nearby town of Palmer, and they started an affair. Todd found out about the affair and was so mad he broke up their partnership at the snowmobile dealership.”

Another source, who's remaining anonymous but has given a sworn affidavit as well, is saying, “Todd was away on business a lot and Sarah felt lonely. Brad was a good listener, and Sarah talked to him at length. Eventually, she real?ized she was falling in love with him. When Todd got back from one of his trips, Sarah told him that she had begun to have feelings for Brad.”

CRAZY!!!!

Wonder how the McCain camp is going to try and cover this up?

Cindy McCain better watch out. Palin might try to take her husband as well!

The Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr., pastor of Mr. Obama's Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, gave the sermon at the school's Andrew Rankin Memorial Chapel in Washington on Jan. 15, 2006.

"We've got more black men in prison than there are in college," he began. "Racism is alive and well. Racism is how this country was founded and how this country is still run. No black man will ever be considered for president, no matter how hard you run Jesse [Jackson] and no black woman can ever be considered for anything outside what she can give with her body."

Mr. Wright thundered on: "America is still the No. 1 killer in the world. . . . We are deeply involved in the importing of drugs, the exporting of guns, and the training of professional killers . . . We bombed Cambodia, Iraq and Nicaragua, killing women and children while trying to get public opinion turned against Castro and Ghadhafi . . . We put [Nelson] Mandela in prison and supported apartheid the whole 27 years he was there. We believe in white supremacy and black inferiority and believe it more than we believe in God."

His voice rising, Mr. Wright said, "We supported Zionism shamelessly while ignoring the Palestinians and branding anybody who spoke out against it as being anti-Semitic. . . . We care nothing about human life if the end justifies the means. . . ."

Concluding, Mr. Wright said: "We started the AIDS virus . . . We are only able to maintain our level of living by making sure that Third World people live in grinding poverty. . . ."

Amen brother, tell it like it is. All those years, Obama tells us he had no inkling of his spiritual mentor's views until the beginning of his campaign, and then he didn't do anything about it out of consideration for the nice old man:

Let me say at the outset that I vehemently disagree and strongly condemn the statements that have been the subject of this controversy. I categorically denounce any statement that disparages our great country or serves to divide us from our allies. I also believe that words that degrade individuals have no place in our public dialogue, whether it's on the campaign stump or in the pulpit. In sum, I reject outright the statements by Rev. The statements that Rev. Wright made that are the cause of this controversy were not statements I personally heard him preach while I sat in the pews of Trinity or heard him utter in private conversation. Let's say it is really true that Obama had no idea that Wright had damned America, had accused the US of starting the AIDS epidemic until the beginning of his campaign. But he admits he knew at the beginning of the campaign. Perhaps he didn't have to leave the church, but he certainly didn't have to make Wright a central part of his campaign, did he? He couldn't figure out on his own that those statements would be lethal to his campaign.

Wright's statements were made over many years. His trip to Libya with Louis Farrakhan in the 1980s is no secret either. I have mentioned Reverend Wright before as a worrisome aspect of Obama:

In addition to his two advisers, Obama has yet to explain his long standing friendship and support of Pastor Jeremiah Wright, who traveled to Libya with Louis Farakhan. Obama also has yet to explain why he only reminded himself to repudiate Farakhan after all the "wingnuts" made sure people knew about the association between Farakhan and Obama's church.

Likewise, Wright's "wisdom," which had to have been all too well known to Obama, had to get to the mainstream media before he even thought it necessary to lie about it.

Obama is not even smart enough, or sensitive enough, to make believe he didn't know about Wright's views until now. Obama is belatedly doing damage control. Wright is no longer a part of the Obama campaign. The audacity to hope for what? Surely, what is happening here is not the audacity to hope, but the audacity to spit in the face of America, the audacity to lie and the will to believe?

The will to believe is not absent. Already, the Wright relationship is being spun away by the true believers at The Nation, and the Wright remarks are being whitewashed and the whole problem is being blamed on right wingnuts:

The person who wrote this nonsense, pretending to speak for black America, is Jewish! Wouldn't it be wiser for black Americans to explain how they feel about America?

Really? You don't have to be a right wingnut to understand that the US didn't start the AIDS epidemic and is not at fault for the 9-11 attacks. You don't have to be a flag waving RNC member with an eagle on your lawn to be scared of a US presidential candidate whose spiritual mentor, an honored member of his campaign, said, "Goddamn America." That might be a good campaign slogan in Tehran. In Wichita, it won't work. Not even in Spokane or Portland.

And here's another attempt at "helping" Obama:

Obama and the spinmeisters may be able to paddle away from the Reverend Wright and his views. At the very least, however, the whole incident tells us that Obama is lacking several qualities needed in a US president. Farrakhan's anti-Semitism would not have been Obama's fault, if Obama had denounced it early in the campaign. Likewise, Wright's rants about America starting the AIDS epidemic would not be Obama's fault, if only he had distanced himself from Wright in time, instead of making him a centerpiece of his campaign. A person with bad judgment should not be president. Obama has shown execrable judgment in choosing friends and mentors, worse judgment in choosing what to ignore, and even worse judgment in choosing his lies. If Obama believes that Wright brought him to Jesus, that's fine for him. He must've been thinking Jesus was an African, but faith is a personal matter, and nobody should interfere with that or question it as long as Barack Obama remains a private citizen or even a U.S. senator. But Obama had to understand that those views could never be compatible with being president of the United States. Nonetheless, he didn't dissociate himself from Wright. He made him part of his campaign. Even the stupidest political novice could understand that "Goddamn America" could not be ignored or kept out of the campaign, and could also have puzzled out the idea that Americans would not take kindly to the accusation of having started the AIDS epidemic.

Rightly or wrongly, as Barack Obama admits, he has gotten a lot of support from American Jews as well as other Americans. He didn't give Jews much in return except for a grudging, belated and mendacious disavowal of Louis Farakhan's racism. Now he 'graciously' gives a similar 'gift' to America, disavowal of Wright's ranting, and no doubt he expects praise from the faithful. Who else, and what else, is lurking in Obama's campaign and his ideas? When will he do Americans yet more 'favors' and disavow them? Are we going to get an Obama speech like this: "Ahmadinejad's nuclear program and his views about the Jewish problem were brought to my attention early in my presidency, but as he was retiring as president, I didn't see any reason to stop the program. I mean, who knew the guy would really use the bomb? I'm really sorry about what happened to Israel, some of my best friends were Jews."

In case anyone didn't understand, I will repeat. Nobody is saying Obama damned America or accused America of starting the AIDS epidemic. But if he doesn't agree with those statements, he showed unacceptably bad judgment in making the man who made the statements a part of his campaign, knowing that he had said those damning things. What else is he wrong about? A person with that sort of judgment can't be president, can he?

Ironically, if Obama's campaign fails, it is likely that the Farakhans and the Al Sharptons and the Jeremiah Wrights will blame it on the Jews. Presumably, nobody but Jews and right wingnuts might hesitate to vote for the man whose spiritual mentor said "goddamn America." It will be a great day when the right African-American becomes President of the United States, but apparently, not if this black American becomes president.

It is still a tossup, Obama will win the popular vote but there are still some battleground states that will be very close. The left wing media will have us all believe Obama is a lock like they did in '04 with Kerry to plant the seed that the Republicans stole the election.
