Default When will McCain dump Palin?

You probably heard that the last five days have been headline city for the GOP VP pick but for all the wrong reasons. Well there seems to be a pool going in the predictions market in Las Vegas that Palin will drop off the ticket before the election. Here are a few items that are already fueling the speculation: Troopergate... Preparedness Questioned... Defense Role Negated... Almost Recalled... No Iraq Focus... Ted Steven's Scandal... Secessionist Party... Earmarks Beneficiary... Pregnant Daughter... Abramoff Connection... Corruption Investigation... Church And State...

The Intrade prediction market has opened trading on whether "Sarah Palin [is] to be withdrawn as Republican VP nominee before 2008 presidential election." At 8:55 am, Tuesday morning, the market is selling the prediction at 18 a share and rising. That means 18 percent of traders think Palin will be removed.

Some think that McCain picked her so he can blame a lost election to her; others are comparing this to the Harriet Miers fiasco.

You really think this will happen?

This is really interesting news. Those prediction markets have shown to be incredibly good at predicting outcomes like this. I'd watch those numbers. If they keep rising, she's toast. I like the idea that McCain made a big, bold choice with Palin, but now it's not looking so good...

If McCain allows this to happen, he's toast.

Let's see here. McCain picks a woman who has only been governor for 18 months of one of the smallest states in the country. Prior to that, she was was a mayor of a town with a whopping population of 9,700. She's an evangelical christian(code word for idiot), her husband is an oil field worker, and she has a pregnant, unwed 17 year old daughter. Yep, the Republicans are once again courting the white trash vote.

I think it's pretty apparent at this point the Republicans are throwing the election. Nobody could possibly be that stupid to pick a running mate with such an unimpressive pedigree and list of accomplishments.

As a Democrat, you should be ashamed of all of the intolerant statements you just made in your post. Your leader, Barack Obama, has said over and over he wants to bring the country together as one, and here you are trying to divide it. Tsk Tsk.

32- I like to use the liberal playbook against them just to show them how fucking stupid they are. Now, calling me a bitch does not bring unity to the country that your man Barack has preached. It is time for you to go back to the re-education camps and brush up on your political correctness.
