Want to hear Irony....

The happy hour that Guffey was at was one AFTER an area meeting about...

of all things ...

Sexual Harrassment.

And then he goes and shoves his tongue down a MT's throat.

But, in true "E" fashion, Guffey tried to have his puppets.. um ARM do damage control. THe ARM was really trying to convince the trainee that it was nothing as well as the rest of the branch that witnessed it. Unfortunately, this wasn't the first time for harrassing an employee for Guffey, perhaps sexual harrassment. But, he was made an #ss of himself when he was drinking.

Sad part was, "E" paid him handsomely to go away quietly. Some, punishment.

Default Upper Management Harassment

So, Lori was involved with that loser? Doesn't surprise me. Do you know a Darren? I think that was his name - the recruiter for Vermont and Upstate New York. I heard how he harassed an MT so bad at happy hour (in public at a crowded bar) that she slapped him across the face. Someone they work with must have seen it because it spread around the offices so quickly. He was a bit of a sleaze ball - didn't surprise me that someone finally tried to put him in his place.

Sorry for all the redactions in this thread; I needed to keep cleaning it up in order to prevent ezBoard from shutting down the board before I could copy all the messages off...

Most of the discussion in this thread is surprising. I knew plenty of happily married couples that worked for Enterprise. I left several years ago, but I would imagine it is still the same......

There were really happily married people? Not that I don't believe you it's just that the experience I had in Vermont was very different. Just curious - where did you work? Sounds like perhaps what I experienced was not the norm for Enterprise, just the norm for the Vermont and upstate New York Group.

I worked in the Southeast, and most of the people I worked with were married....although I knew few who had kids. Most employees with kids were either at admin or area managers on up. At the last branch I worked at, 7 of the 8 employees were married. It has been several years since I left, and I still keep in touch with many of them. I only know of one divorce......Just my own experience though....

Does anybody know anything more about Brian Guffey?

I worked for Enterprise in 1988 in Chicago. There was an area manager named Brian Guffey there. He was considered a real sicko. The female employees knew to stay away from him.

After I left Enterprise, a former female eracer told me that he tried to physically force her to have sex. She said that the company paid her off to keep it quiet.
