| Hello Group 57, I flew into Harrisburg International Airport last night and walked right by your counter on my way to the other nationwide chain I'm temporarily renting from while I wait for you to get it together. At your counter, there were four people in line, and only one employee working. At my counter, I was fifth in line, with two employees working. I got to the front, got my keys, and got out of there in under two minutes. I looked over at your line and it hadn't moved and your customers looked pissed. Just for fun, I stepped outside, took in the cool air, and waited ten minutes. While listening to Trisha Yearwood pounding out "There goes my baby" on my iPod Nano, I wondered that if Enterprise delighted its customers as much as Apple does, they'd be owning GM by now, rather than buying from them. Then I had another look inside and the same two guys at the back of your line were still there, cooling their heels. I hate to bring it up again, Enterprise, but your whole act is completely incompatible with what business travellers are looking for. You serve a completely different submarket. Your business model is optimized to make insurance companies happy at $14/day (or whatever) and grind out a profit through running extremely tight coupled with relentless upselling and ethical shortcuts. The other national chains are optimized to delight their customers and get business travellers on their way. Enterprise has no future at the airports. You should have bought Hertz and let them have the airports while shutting down HLE. When are you ever going to learn? Admin __________________ "Don't worry about what anybody else is going to do. | As a current employee, I can't argue with you! I've said the same thing myself several times. I know that at my branch, I do have several regular business customers, and I will have their ticket all ready to go with the car filled up and waiting for them. They sign their four places and are out the door in less than a minute. However, this is impossible at airports since there are so many people coming in from all over the country. As a Goldmember, you just sign your name one place and are on your way. As an Emeraldmember, you just walk downstairs and CHOOSE the car you want, and are on your way. As a Enterprise CorporateClass member, you stand in line, present your driver's license and credit card, wait for them to type everything in, then listen to the damage waiver speech, etc. Oh, but you get a cheaper car and better service!!!*sarcasm* ...at least one of those two a business customer could care less about. Good luck with your rental. And share some love - buy the Enterprise employee a burger on your way back home, because there's a good chance that poor soul has been standing there for ten hours or more without so much as a lunch break! | Who was working at the front desk? what did she look like? Harrisburg Airport typically has one person writing the tickets and then one person chekcing into cars. If you've read my other posts, you will know that I am not a supporter of many of ERAc's practices, however, that airport office posts ESQI in the 90s on a consisten basis. And yes, the manager there is smokin' and yes, I hear she is loose. |

| Admin, I'm curious to know what the person working the front desk looked like. I have a few friends that still work there and I'm wondering if it was one of them. If it was a certain few, they would've loved to have met you....I know they're fans of this site. (I'm not kidding) |

I suspect a fast way to get fired at Enterprise would be to meet Admin and then talk about it. As for the employee, she was young and female (no help, I know), but I was moving fast. __________________ "Don't worry about what anybody else is going to do.
