Default Question about 2nd/3rd Interview

I have been looking around this site and I know everyone says it’s all bad (some good) but I would like some honest answers about the 2nd interview.

I got a call that I will have my 3rd interview ( I have had the phone and 1st face to face, is the next one considered the 3rd?) (they said 3rd that’s why I ask)
They told me to set aside 2-3 hours for a branch visit before the interview and then I will interview directly afterwords. I have the time and I am going to go to the interview.

My questions are:
What do you do during the branch visit?
What type of interview is done after that? (Format, with who, etc)
What additional stuff/information/surprises should I be expecting?
Is this a good sign that they called it the "3rd interview" instead of the 2nd? I have been reading on here and have not seen anything about the 2-3 hours for the branch visit.

Thanks in advance for the advice.

During the branch observation you'll spend time talking to the Assistant manager and MTs about what to expect/job requirements, etc. Wear a suit and ask intellegent questions. This interview should involve both a Branch Manager and an Area Manager. The actual interview should last 45 minutes to an hour. Bring your A-game and sell yourself to these people (in my area, this is not the final interview, but is where they really decide whether they'll hire you or not: our third interview is with a Group Rental Manager and is more like a screening than a real interview).

Dont even bother asking Intellegent questions, they wont be able to answer questions that are intellegent. Ask them about how many hours you'll be working, sick and vaca time, and working weekends and holidays. I'd love to hear all the bullshit they try to sell you.

See here is a great example of one of the unintellegent people you'll be speaking to when you go to the branch.

lmao at bringing a-game to a retail job that pays 8-10 dollars an hour.
ERAC is desperate for bodies, if you have half a brain you'll have no problem.
fugging lol at a-game and ask intelligent questions bwahahahahhahaha.
to the OP, i suggest during your branch obs that you pull an mt/ma/am aside and get his/her real opinion on the awesome career that is renting cars.

Look at you! so smart!

I mispelled it on porpoise because the word was spelled wrong in the original post that I responded to.

lets see what else you can do...how many words are misspelled above?

When rental apes get frustrated they play the " shut up Robert" card regardless of who is posting. In their eyes, everyone who is against ERAC is "Robert". I mean c'mon, how could more than one person possibly have problems with this company???

Geez...you made yourself look a little smarter by spelling intelligent correctly only to dumb yourself down again by spelling asshole incorrectly. Nice one.

Back to the original post. If you've made it to the 3rd interview, chances are that you're already hired. Yes, dress nice, but you don't need to say or ask much beyond what you've already talked about in the first 2 interviews. Upper management already likes you and will sell you to the branch manager. My 3rd interview lasted 15 minutes long and only involved an interview with the branch manager. Easy sell.

However, I strongly suggest you reconsider pursuing this job. The economy is a lot stronger today than it was when I worked for ERAC 6 years ago. So there are plenty of options available. You can also PM me and we can discuss privately if you wish.
