Default Life after ERAC???????????

Okay so I work with the E Machine right now. I have no clue how this experience will transfer to another job????!!!!!????? To everyone out there, what the hell did you do? And what are you doing now? How'd you get there? And how far along did you go through, Branch Manager, Assistant??? Would just like to hear a few of your stories so I can jump ship to something else.

It really depends on what job you're looking for post-ERAC as to what skills will transfer best. I'm no recruiter but let's say you wanted to join the Police - your time spent with irate customers who have been left high and dry by ERAC will be a good example to use on an application.

However, if you wanted to work in logistics something like time management might come in to play. What I've learned most is that recruiters are very familiar with ex-ERACers so don't bullshit them. You'll probably be the hundredth ex-ERACer they've seen that month and they will know the job inside out.

Don't fall into the trap of believing you're a worthless piece of crap just because you don't want to work 56 hours a week. From my experience recruiters accept that ERAC's demands are unreasonable.

Good luck with your search. I'm looking too!

You gotta know what you wanna do. That's the challenge. Then spin your ERAC experience to what the potential employer is looking for. I was an AM for 1 yr and a BM for a year. I applied for a job as an analyst with an investment firm (better pay, 9-5, business casual, no weekends, etc.). What I did is sold my ERAC experience as using real-time financial data to arrage branch activity in a way to acheive optimal profitability, low bed debts, attention to detail. And I sold my managment experience that was an asserive and tested leader and team player. I talked about ESQI -- and how everything in ERAC is arranging activity and processes based on real-time data.

The point is not what I did, but that i knew what i wanted to do. I used ERAC to help shap my interview. TALK ABOUT THE HOURS YOU WORK AND HOW HARD YOU WORK -- BUT MAKE SURE TO SAY YOU LOVED THEPACE AND CHALLANGE AND YOU LOVE THE ERAC JOB, YOU JUST LOVE THIS NEW JOB MORE.

Honestly, once you start your new job you'll realize the benefits of ERAC., especially if you made it AM or BM, b/c if you're any good, you're organized with attention to detail and multitasking and time management skills. if you can do that and you have at least normal intelligence you can do most any jobs.

SORRY FOR THE ERRORS, I'M NOT PROOFREADING THIS.
