Default Yes

It is sad to see what length of stupidity people nowadays go to. ERAC is like other employers, nothing special, but is moving in the right direction.

I think all you people are jealous, maybe you lot never made it big within the company through lack of ability and now have nothing but bad words to say about the company. You should grow up and spend your time getting a job, rather than sitting on your PC making stupid remarks about ERAC.

If you guys have a problem please give me a call

I have dealt with your types of people before and have no hesitation in putting you people right.

Default Mr. AP I have some questions for you..

1. Tell me why this is probably one if not the biggest website bashing a company?
2. One of the categories in Fortune 500 is "Best company to work for". I came from a company that was #3. in the last 7 years to work for ERAC. Tell me why ERAC hasn't made the list even in the top 100.
3. I'm back working for a major company that is fortune 500 top company to work for, most profitable etc.... typing to you from my desk at my job.... I know ,"I'm hard enough" to talk to you but can you even answer these simple questions. In all my years working I've never worked with a company that uses unethical, lying, unmoral business practices both customer and employee manners. I don't care how far you made it of that how much money you made. Look at the company as a whole and the character of the company. Your retention is high, why is that? It wouldn't be based on the hiring process of HR or the lack of the realism that is not told upon hiring?

If you can give me a reasonable answer to these questions I'll be sure to give you call!!

Not Fortune 500. I believe it is due to the fact that it is a privately held company. Not 100%, but I believe if you investigate those companies on that list, none of them would be private.

Default fair assesment

I am currently employed with ERAC. In my short time with the company I have worked extremely hard and have been promoted numerous times over. Is it a perfect company? No it is not. No company is. From your first interview with HR you are told that this company REQUIRES that you put in long hours at an extremely high tempo. Some people cannot handle this tempo. I am good friends to this day with people who could not handle it.
As far as the ethics associated with this company. There exists, as in any company, a small group that tarnishes the reputation of the whole. I have seen a number of people terminated for unethical behavior. Nobody feels sorry for these people, they knew the rules and they broke them.

I worked for Enterprise for almost three years in the Pittsburgh, Pa. area. In that period of time, I experienced and witnessed more racism and sexism than I had ever seen before. As a woman working for Enterprise, I felt completely objectified by the majority of the men that I worked for, especially by my area manager. I was also very outspoken and was not afraid to make suggestions regarding how to make daily operations run smoother. I would also not hold back when I thought that something or someone had to be criticized or reprimanded for their actions.

I was the top assistant manager in the area I worked and was passed over for three, yes, THREE promotions. I was never given good reasons as to why. White men were given these positions over me. These men had less experience than I had, their numbers were not nearly as strong as my numbers and their customer service skills did not match mine.

It was the day that I found out that my area manager called me a "bitch" in front of two rental reps and a branch manager that I decided I had to do something about the way I was being treated. I immediately called the HR department and explained how upset I was about the situation. I assumed that I would get some support from her considering that her job was to be completely unbiased and help employees through situations such as these. Long story short, she set up a meeting with herself, me, our vice president, the area manager. While sitting in the meeting, I felt as though I was being attacked on all sides. The area manager was never once reprimanded for calling me a bitch. I was called a "glorifed rental rep" and that was the reason the VP gave for passing me over for three promotions. I then explained that if you really looked at it, ALL employees in rental branches, regardless of their title, are glorified rental reps.

I left the corporate branch after the meeting, feeling defeated and crying, and decided that I would not work for an extremely sexist company like Enterprise. I could kick myself for not taking the initiative to file a sexism law suit against them.

Default Here it is again

This:

"I was also very outspoken and was not afraid to make suggestions regarding how to make daily operations run smoother. I would also not hold back when I thought that something or someone had to be criticized or reprimanded for their actions."

Leads to this:

I was the top assistant manager in the area I worked and was passed over for three, yes, THREE promotions.

If you rock the boat at Erac, the boat rocks back.

*For those hard core erac supporters...are ya seeing a pattern here?

Enterprise does not care about their employees. You could have the greatest idea in the world, but they'd look at your idea as criticism. Enterprise doesn't want people working for them. They want robots who do what they're told and don't ask any questions. They want robots who work 12 hour days in all the elements. They want robots who smile and nod and shake the hands of customers who treat them like garbage after the rep has driven to pick them up in a foot of snow. If you are a robot, work for Enterprise. They'll pick you up!!!
