| hey guys got a phone asking to go for an interview on thursday in finneston for a managment trainee place with mark darley. I then found this website and has put me off going for it! I have talked to one or two other people and the response is that I will be washing cars(is this true in glasgow) and working 60/70 hours a week for no money. I have told friends and family do not want to go for interview but they insist I do what do you all recommend? Please help fast! Regards |

| Davey, If you don't want to spend 60-70 hours a week washing cars, don't bother going for the interview. Even if you get to Branch Manager, you'll still be up to your elbows in muddy water and dog hair when it's -10 degrees. Go with your instincts and leave this well alone. |

| True You will be working +60hrs a week and barely have enough to pay your bills. You will be washing cars (in your business suit) in hot or cold weather. You will love Monday mornings when you have 30 cars on the lot and you will have to clean all of them at 6:.30 A.M. in a 10 degree weather. |

| I applied online for the mgmt position as well and got called for an interview, yeah I didn't call them back, not worth it. I'm now training to become a financial adviser, much more income potential and the like, also more reputable. You didn't go to college to wash cars and fill out tickets all day! |

| Thanks guys am going to go for it out of interest but refuse if i get offered! going plough him full of questions and see what the response I get will say I found this site aswell!! anyone recommend anything I should ask to weed out the crap? |

ie. Promotion potential. What qualifies someone to get promoted to a high level? how are they judged for the promotion? when was the last time someone got that promotion? Income. What's the breakdown. does the base include bonuses like car sales and employee referrals or is it just hourly? if it's just hourly, why doesn't the math add up? |

Why don't you take some time and invest yourself in getting a career? Go to grad school or take some time to learn a programming language that's really hot nowadays. Go into IT, database, or nursing. Those aren't bad options as well. |

Then act like and make certain they know that it was YOU who interviewed them and give them the old "I might call you" and then decline the "hand" for the handshake with a sophisticated/even fake smile !! then arrogantly walk out of there leaving the door behind you open and do NOT LOOK BACK while walking to your car in the parking lot.. get in your car, flick open your cellphone and pretend you are talking somebody while driving past the office you just exited smiling and shaking your head while on your cellphone ... that is the way ERAC treats people and that is how you treat them BACK ! Got it ??? ... now go do a good job of this .. and .. post how it went ... thanks ..and good luck :) |
