Low and behold, I interview, and it seemed to go well and the guy gave me his card at the end and told me to contact him if I had any questions later on.

Fast-forward 4 or so hours, what do I get in my email? The regional manager (a female) sending some crap about "pursuing other candidates". lol You'd think the guy would have had enough balls to tell me then. lol
It may not seem like it, but the guy did you a favor. This company is warped to the core.

I was at Enterprise for six months. In my interview the HR person basically told me to lie to the area manager as that is how I would get the job. I had filled in the application form believing that I would have the freedom to go into finance or HR however at the interview I was placed under strict instructions to say when asked what my aspirations were to say that I wanted to work in sales and customer service... I'm sorry but I have never known of a company so desperate for people that they inform candidates how to lie their way through interviews...

If enterprise did not hire you, you are either A.) completely fucking retarded-or B.) utterly and completey without a shadow of a doubt fucking retarded.......and if you do get hired and end up staying with the company....well then you actually end up being a bigger dumbass than the person who initially does not get hired as you have served as a rental "whipping boy" over a long period of time ultimately placing you below shoe shiners, car wash attendants and professional dog walkers....

I just think the guy didn't like how direct my personality is and how I asked him a lot of questions. I wasn't that "excited" about the "opportunity" after the interview anyways... to get anywhere, I'd have to move from town to town, thus, never being able to really "settle down" and the 30,000 a year includes over time. Thanks but no thanks.
If you don't care and are not upset about not getting the job, then why are you here whining about it?

I had an interview with erac, and i also got rejected. i went there to practice my interviewing skills. there were several reasons why i knew they would not pick me, like the fact that i have a little baby and can't work more than 40h :) (i was honest about it from a very beginning).
i read your website before, and i knew what i was doing and what to expect.
some observations:
1) the guy that interviewed me said that what motivates him are promotions. he has been working there for 6 years (remembered the exact day he started!), and went through the whole erac path:mt, am, bm, and now is .... a recruiting specialist! for most companies this is an entry level hr position!
2)about the recruitment process: the guy told me that he wants to have more interviews that other recruitment specialist because this will determine his promotion. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY! LET'S INTERVIEW ANYBODY JUST TO PUMP THE NUMBERS!

good luck for anybody interested in erac!

Looking back, I probably would have gotten just as much professional satisfaction as a dog walker as I did at ERAC. All Id have to do is where my white shirt, tie, and dress pants. Think about it the only difference is instead of cleaning crap out of cars, I would be cleaning crap off the ground.
