You will definitely work long hours. I don't think I ever worked less than 55 hours in a week. It' more like 60-65 depending on your branch manager.
You will also do things that you don't want to do. Especially wash cars in your nice work suit. I can't tell you how many dress shirts and pants were ruined from washing cars because there were no porters available.
You will also take a lot of crap from people. A lot of ERAC's business comes from insurance rentals. A lot of people are cheap and either don't have rental reimbursement as part of their insurance coverage or they have the $20 reimbursement and $20 won't even cover a compact car. Then you have to listen to them bitch because they drive a Mercedes, they want a full size car, and they don't want to pay a cent over what the insurance will pay.
I'm so glad I left ERAC. My current job pays twice as much as they do, and I'm working 8 hours a day and only 18 days per month. After my experiences with the company, I wouldn't recommend anybody work there. But some people actually enjoy it. That or they've had too much kool-aid.
