Default Get a life

All you little bitches need to stop whining so much. ERAC is a great company, I used to work for them for 5 yrs and really have nothing negative to say about them. Yes you do work long hrs and don't get paid as much as you probably should, but I made more money each year I was with the company. The bottom line: if you are spending your time whining and complaining, you probably aren't making any money in your life-loser. If they had this same type of site up for your current co., you'd be all over that crying as well. If you are a lazy bastard that doesn't want to work hard, tell me one profession you can make money in? There isn't one. If you suck, you can't change unless you quit your complaining and do something about it. Crying on this site isn't going to put anymore money in your pocket, is it?

Default I'll tell you why

To start my own business. ERAC showed me enough in those 5 yrs to make me realize I can run my own show and not pay corporate america 90% of it. ERAC is a great company to learn from, it's all about what you can take away from the experience, and I learned a ton. If you don't like working for people, then don't. Figure out something your passionate about, and then make a business out of it. ERAC is no worse than any other corporate america job, so if you want to work for somebody, they are an amazing co. to get started in. You learn how to work hard and sell. If you can do those 2 things, you can be succesful in any venture you try, I promise.

Default exeracer, you couldn't be more wrong

Why the anger towards us? Why the pent up hostility? Are you still a virgin? Truth is ERAC is a terrible company. If it were so great, then why in my three years there did they lose two class action suits regarding the treatment of its employees? Huh? Why? I thought so. LMFAO @ teaching you to run a business? Are you kidding me? Perhaps through showing exactly what not to do. But that’s it. You’re still brain-washed.

I’m on this site for fun. After a year of being a BM in GP32, I had enough of the Enterlies. I’m not a lazy bastard who doesn’t want to work hard like you claim. I just don’t think washing cars and being a customer service rep is what a college grad should do for a living. It just took me three years to realize how crappy of a company ERAC is. I love my current job since the day they rescued me from ERAC. You question my money? I earn more than most RVPs just three years after leaving ERAC for a REAL job.

So quit hatin’, you bitter little peon.

Default Enterprise is two faced

Hey exeracer,
To prove to you how much of a shitty place Enterprise is, why do they drug test Managers who don't drive customer around, but don't drug test Management trainees and Management Assistants who do drive customers around? The company makes no sense. I got fired from Enterprise because I got a DWI in New Jersey, but they kept a manager who failed a drug test. Makes alot of sense. The company is bogus and I hope they go bankrupt. The company has a bunch of assholes running it, they are a bunch of liars. I was in operations and all of a sudden they decided to make rules that pertained to operations. Why aren't these rules in the handbook for the employees? If I had the money the company would be mine. @#%$ Enterprise and the people who run it. LETS GO HERTZ!

I have no anger, I just don't like little pansies crying all the time about how their life @ Erac is so horrible. Tell me, what are you doing now that you are making more than RVPs? You don't need to tell me your company, just let me know what industry you are in and what position. I'd like to see a 3 yr Eracer out of college making $60k as a branch manager get hired for a position making $250k+! I agree that washing cars in a tie for a college grad sucks, but any entry level job out there has its pros and cons. Let me ask you one question. Do you think your current company would have hired you without your experience with ERAC? OK then.

I work in capital leasing. It’s an industry with a higher turnover than ERAC, but most get fired because they can’t produce. If you make it, you get treated like gold unlike ERAC. My last Christmas bonus at ERAC was a $15 cooler. At my current job I got a $15,000 check. See the difference.

I didn’t get hired to make 250K+ out of ERAC…I wish. I did make 24K base and w/ commission, I earned 90K my first year. I made roughly 170K the next year after getting put on full commission. This is the seventh month in my third year, my first as a sales manager. I have some residuals coming in from some deals I did in my first year as well as my commission from my sales and my team’s. I should make $300K+.

About getting a job with my current company without ERAC is very debatable. I manage four former ERACers on my sales team two were BMs and one ARM. So, with them, it helped when I interviewed them. However, when I joined, I was the first ERACer and I actually had to convince them why a customer service retail manager could succeed in a hard core, cold-calling environment. They thought, I’d be too nice and too much of a push over to succeed. I guess they’ve all rented cars from ERAC.

I can tell you that it is a lot harder to make it in capital leasing than it is in ERAC. Obviously you are a stud and know how to sell. But, most eracers would not be able to handle that hardcore cold calling environment. For most people, it would be way easier to stick it out w/ erac for 12+ years and make $200k a year than to make it in capital leasing. I make 50-100 cold calls a day and I know most people(not just eracers) do not have the mental toughness to get rejected 90% of the time. Imagine how they would feel only selling 10% dwi! But you apparently can see the value in people coming from erac or else you wouldn't have hired 4 of them. You probably wouldn't have near the contacts you do from your time spent @ erac. ERAC always spends more money on the Christmas party than the gift. I'd take $15k instead any day of the week, but you got that bonus for a reason-because you are performing. I wish you continued success. However, you are not the norm. You have a skill set that most people don't, not just people who work @ erac. When you look back on it though, ERAC surely helped you become the success you are today. Even if you hated it, w/o that experience you would not be in the same position.

They don't drug test you when you get hired for a reason. Think about this, most of the college grads they hire out of college are either athletes or frat/sorority people. They aren't the valedictorians and the geeks. They want people who are social. These people party. ERAC realizes this and gives them a little leway when they 1st start. However, when it is time to move up in the co, they want you to grow up and stop smoking the herb. You were in operations, so maybe they wanted to make an example out of you. You should get your priorities straight. If you were smoking the kind, instead of getting drunk, you woulnd't have got that DWI and probably would still be working there. Although I hear the weed isn't nearly as good out in NJ. :)
As for you hoping they go bankrupt-good luck. This is a billion dollar company that isn't going away. I don't care what kind of money you had, that company would never be yours. You are obviously pissed off, and I understand that, but to say the company is bogus is just a stupid statement. You just got caught up, so move on.
