| Hey guys, I was once close to working at Enterprise as an MT I guess. Back in November 04, just finished my college requirements, Degree in Business Adminsitration and about to go to my third interview w/ Enterprise. I was also going through interview with Wells Fargo Financial, a financial sevices company. I actually was originally going to take Enterprise, because they made it seem like a job where your days were so varied, and you could make six figures fast. Thanks to this site- I found it one day in my research- I went to work for Wells Fargo Fin as an MT. Since then they have changed the job title to credit manager. I live in the northeast, was hired at 32k salary plus chance at 4k per quarter bonus. SInce then they have changed the bonus structure- where as a CM you can make 2500/month bonus depending on your sales numbers. In seven months I have gotten a small raise- 3%, and also been promoted to Senior Credit Manager where I can now earn 3500/month bonus. THe hours are not bad. I work 8:30-5:30 on Monday Wednesday and Friday, and 10-7 on Tuesday and Thursday. No Weekends. Also some branches only have 8:30-5:30 hours from what I have heard. In seven months there- getting paid 15th and last day of month- I have made about 22k. With a little OT at my discretion and hitting a couple small bonuses and one 2k Bonus. I am doing very well setting my self up for month of August with potential for 3500 bonus. I expect to make at least 40k this year. It takes you 3-4 months just to really get going and be fully trained or I would have made more than 22k so far this year- The BAD- It is a sales job!! NEw rules and regulations have come on board- have to read a script to leave a message. HEavy telephone sales- although no cold calling- acually pretty good leads- where you call current and former customers and have their credit score, how many ccs they have etc right in front of you. The district work in is one of the worst sales wise, and they have now taken away our e-mail except for a couple hours a day. At times they babysit and ask you what you are doing and scrutinize how many calls you are making. It is a heavy numbers job, what have you done for me lately type thing. So - just to let you guys know. I am not advertising this job to anyone. There are a lot of things I do not like and I have been looking for something else. I do not think sales is for me in the long run. I do not parucularly like the job. However, what I am saying is that it sounds like a better starting point than Enterprise. A good name for your resume. More money, less hours, and potential to make a lot more than an MT at Enterprise. I even met a couple people at orientation who worked at Enterprise and left for Wells Fargo. So, if you are considering Enterpise and can not find anything else, apply for Wells Fargo instead. You may be pretty much a telemarketer, but you will not be renting cars for a living, will make more money, and can dress business casual. I may be looking for something else, but at least while I am I can be patient for the right job- becauseI can potentially make 50k a year here, and I am doing well and have time for myself......also 21 days paid vacation which you get right away. If anyone else has any questions, just reply with them and I will answer. Once again, thanks to all on this site- because without this site I may have been an MT at Enterprise right now. |

I'd sure like to hear from an ERAC recruiter on the board one of these days... Admin __________________ "Don't worry about what anybody else is going to do. The best way to predict the future is to invent it." -- Alan Kay |

| I find your comments on Wells Fargo interesting. I have left Enterprise, finally...., and have taken a job with ERAC. Everything seems great, and I have gotten a good vibe from my friends that work there as well. One thing I found odd though, is that the W.F. interview, was the most 'intense' interview I've been through. Now granted, I'm still young and haven't had too many, but I have had a fair share before ERAC & within ERAC. But, the interview with Wells Fargo was intense!! This guy was hardcore in this interview. However, I was offered the job, and I have left ERAC, and I am on top of the world! Thanks for your comments on Wells FArgo. |

| LMAO I worked at Wells Fargo and it is very much like ERAC except your pay is the less, it take longer to get promoted, and if you think renting cars in sucks try sitting in a in store location for 9 monthes cashing checks. Plus I know what my manager used to make at Wells Fargo and it is about 15000 less then I make now as a branch manager at ERAC. A quote from what i heard from him the other day when I was in the bank, "Shit! you make more then me now", uncomfortable laugh, "How long have you been there?" Hello Employee referral for ERAC. He made it to the 2nd interview and then he mentioned that he gets frustrated with people who could not provide 2 forms of ID to cash a check. RED FLAG good bye. |

I think you are thinking of Wells Fargo BANK my mentaly challenged friend. You must have worked there as a teller or something. Sorry about that. I work, and my post was about, Wells Fargo Financial- a financial services subsidiary of Wells Fargo and Company. Yes there are Wells Fargo Banks but they are mostly on the West Coast, I am on the East Coast where there are NONE. No checking accounts, or savings accounts or people cashing checks- sorry I have a sales job, I have never cashed a check in my life that didn't have my name on it. I sell personal loans, credit cards, and Mortgages, and also maintenance local businesses who do financing through us. I do not sit in an office ALL day- actually I go to my customers homes, workplaces, etc for consultations about refinancing, closing loans- and training local retailers on how their financing program with us works. But when I am in my office, it is an actual office and not some rental car retail outlet- where you have to STAND behind a counter. I have my own desk and computer. If you read my original post, I make 33k base salary- and can make 3500 per month bonus- and I am a 7 month employee. This year I am on pace to make somewhere in the 40's with my bonuses- and have already been promoted once. And I really did not get started in the sales aspect until Mid march because I was training. So I am on pace to make somewhere in the 45 k range in just 9 months of actual selling and no client list built up in the beginning. My max earning potential is 33k plus 3500/month (42k over a year) which equals 75k which I will get closer to as I get more experience under my belt. I do NOT know what my BM makes, but my AM has hinted to me she makes somewhere in the 50's. I wish i knew what my BM makes- but I know he has only been BM a year there, and just last week got rid of his 97 Nissan Altima for a 05 Audi A6. But hey I have friends who make 30k driving nice cars so I am not saying that means much. But I was told by my AM that everyone in our state that has been promoted to BM bought a house shortly thereafter. And If I can make 75k potentially in a year- how much do you think a BM could make.....maybe you should apply. ;) Now, I am not saying making in the 40's is a big deal or a lot of money- but no way you can tell me someone at ERAC first year makes that- AND I WORK 40 HOURS A WEEK WITH NO WEEKENDS!!! I get to dress business casual and do not have to wash cars. I also have 21 days of Paid vacation right on hire. I am typing this now at 11am on Friday bc I went to a concert last night and took today off. I will reiterate I am not saying my job is great or that it pays great, but I can say reading about Enterprise is one thing that makes me feel like I am well paid and have a good job, at least compared to what MT's go through!! And thank goodness I am not renting cars with a college degree!! |

| Original poster here again. Just wanted to say I am going to post how much I made in 05 off of my W2 when I get it. So far I am going to make 33,000 off my base salary for the year. I have already cleared 6k in bonuses for the year with still 4 months to go, and that is not selling (training) until March. Plus 1k of OT so far this year. And this is my first year there started in late December. Looking at a MINIMUMof about 40k here. Just letting you know for anyone at Enterprise who may consider Wells Fargo Financial. I know you develop sales skills at Enteprise which could help you land a job at Wells Fargo for better pay. |

| Work at ERAC for a year, then get a gig at WFF right around the corner from your old branch. Spend the last month at ERAC telling all your cash renters to come see you. Then you roll all thier debt into a refi and make yourself rich. |
