| Wow you smoke pot. Gee you must be so cool. Half the people on the outer islands in Hawaii were pot heads when I worked there on Oahu. So were their degenerate customers. We had a few on Oahu, but not as many problems as Maui and Big Island. Now the outer islands are so screwed up ERAC can't get anyone to take the management positions. They're out of control. Oh, and all you guys posting that ERAC takes you out for happy hour...shoot an email to the GM in Hawaii. We were never treated to anything like that. Our Christmas parties were lame and so were the company events. All because ERAC Hawaii refused to spend any money on employee satisfaction. |

| the purpose to mention pot is this. whyyyy smokee at enterprise whenn you can go to law school, or work at a DECENT job and sell, smoke etc and still have your weekend and most of the evening MON-FRI. thats the question. |
| |||
| Good luck passing law school and smoking weed. I think it requires motivation and clear thinking, two things pot robs you of. A better question is, why work at ERAC at all if your plans are to be a lawyer. Much better aspirations in life than to be a rental monkey. |

| I wanted to thank all of you posters - I went on an interview with Enterprise this past Monday. It all went well and the recruiter said "we really want you back for a second interview". So I scheduled one. Having 2+ years experience in the Business World, and having a College Degree my eventual aspirations are to own and operate my own business, but I need to get some practical experience in my opinion before I do anything of the sort. I viewed Enterprise as a great opportunity because from what they claim, they offer the "total business operating" experience and after all they are "number five on Business Weeks top jobs for college grads". I almost bought the hook, and had I been fresh out of school I would have but I'm just a little wiser in my 2 years, so I did a little digging. Needless to say when a company has a site of this magnitude dedicated to informing people as to what this "Management Trainee" job actually entails, it says everything that needs to be said. The only real question now is whether or not I will formally call and cancel my appointment, or just not show up and leave the Manager waiting for me. I will continue my job search, but until then I'll keep my job where I make more money and work a normal week... I appreciate all the honesty from everyone, consider your hard work a success, you saved this kid from probably losing all his friends, girlfriend, and never seeing his family - you know the stuff that really matters in life. |

| Call the manager, and tell him why you won't be pursuing the opportunity. If you really want to hit him in the balls, mention the site. |
| |||
| I would go to class A if you get hired. Get wasted, eat well, tag some of the ladies there and on the last day get so hammered drunk show up two hours late smelling of gin. They will tell you to hit the road but at least you will get paid for your time and you got to get wasted, eat good and got laid. |

For the sake of your fellow job candidates, please tell them you discovered Failing Enterprise and because of this you've ended your candidacy. Sooner or later, after hundreds of local recruiters keep screaming at St. Louis that they can't recruit with Failing Enterprise out there telling the truth about how bad it is to work there, they might finally get motivated to start doing the right thing. __________________ "Don't worry about what anybody else is going to do. | Hi - I just had a great laugh reading through these posts from people who worked for Enterprise - I'm from England and worked at U7 group from 1997 - 1999 (Steve Yockey Jim Olexa, Tim Kruse etc) - My experience was also bad but like people said, as a new graduate you just dont have any other experiences to base your experience on and you want to do well. Unlike many people I spent over two years there, even got a nice plaque to prove it - got promoted twice but I have to say I probably aged 5 years in those two years and saw fresh faced graduates health quickly deteriorate with black bags under their eyes and a poor diet through not having the time to look after themselves properly - not good!! I got out after getting through several pairs of shoes and suits through knackering them washing cars - I'm happy to have got out but I lost my confidence in industry and in companies in general and never worked for anyone else since - (nearly 7 years now) I created a website and also do lots on ebay which provides me with a reasonable income although I regret joining Enterprise as I think I would be in a lot better position now if I'd joined a different company, had different experiences etc. Anyone thinking of joining Enterprise should do so as a last resort and only as a stepping stone to a quick improvement - don't get caught up in the hype of earning big money as I saw maybe 50 employees join and leave after getting burned out - only one remained and made it to area manager - Well done James!! |
