YOU WILL ALSO LOOK LIKE A PRICK TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY. DO NOT TAKE IT.... IF YOU ARE STILL THINKING ABOUT IT DO THIS....TOMORROW WAKE UP AND GET READY LIKE YOU WERE GOING FOR A BUSINESS DAY AT ERAC.PUT ON A WHITE SHIRT AND TIE.POP ON SOME CRAP SHOES(THEY WILL GET DIRTY FROM WASHING CARS) THEN HEAD TO THE BREAKFAST TABLE.SIT THERE AND IMAGINE WHAT YOUR DAY WOULD BE LIKE. IF YOU STILL WANT TO WORK THERE GO AHEAD. MY GIRLFRIEND TURNED DOWN A JOB AT ERAC BECAUSE SHE DID THIS.ITS AN EXERCISE TO SHOW YOU WHETHER YOU WILL LIKE A JOB OR NOT.... FOR A REALISTIC ERAC DAY DO THIS AT 5.30 AM, HEAD OUTSIDE AND BEGIN WASHING CARS ALONG YOUR STREET WITH A MOP AND BUCKET IN YOUR SUIT. THEN EVERY 30 MINS OR SO DRIVE AT HIGH SPEED TO ANOTHER RESIDENTIAL AREA TO A HOUSE YOU PICKED RANDOMLY ON A MAP OF YOUR CITY. BEGIN ARGUING WITH THE RESIDENT. THEN TELL THEM YOU WILL DO ANYTHING TO MAKE THEM COMPLETLY SATISFIED. AT 4PM YOU CAN STOP FOR LUNCH FOR 10 MINS WHILE WRITING A CONTRACT. ONLY EAT 3 SLICES OF PIZZA THOUGH...THIS IS WHAT YOU WOULD HAVE FOR LUNCH ON ANY DAY AT ERAC....AT 7.30 PM WALK BACK INTO YOUR HOUSE... TAKE 40.00 DOLLARS FROM YOUR WALLET AND LAY IT ON THE TABLE....THIS IS WHAT YOU EARNED! 10 ON RENT..... 10 ON SOME TAKEAWAY BECAUSE YOU HAVE NO TIME TO COOK BEFORE BED. 10 ON UTILITIES 10 FOR CAR PAYMENT AND INSURANCE...... ALL OF YOUR MONEY IS GONE..... NOW YOU WILL HAVE TO RELY ON YOUR PARENTS AND CREDIT CARDS..... THIS IS A TYPICAL DAY AT ERAC.... YOU @#%$ C U N T S |

| College graduates are a prime target for Enterprise because they are available in December, May, and August. This means that the Green Death knows they have fresh blood to drink from every 4 months. In general college graduates also: work longer hours, have less experience to draw their expectations on, hear money and not common sense, and the part ERAC likes the best...they are willing to work for less!!!!! All I have to say to someone who is doubting the people on this site is one thing- Why does it exist??? Well it exists for two reasons. Number one is because ERAC is a racist, immoral, and unfair company. Number two is because there are two kinds of people in this world: those who are ok with what you have to do as an ERAC Employee and those who think it is complete BS (me for instance). Anybody willing to still take a job after reading this site seriously needs to sit down and analyze whether they see themselves being happy renting cars as a career. For me personally, this was a no-brainer. In closing, for all those job candidates who are thinking about a future with Enterprise, please, please, please make sure you weigh all of the facts before you make your decision. I didn't and I lost 8 miserable months of my life because of it. My name is TheEvilGreen and I have now been 'Enterprise Free' for 346 days and every single day is better than the previous. |

| BTW, U624 - that might be the best post I've seen on this board in a long while. |

| I never felt I was lied to....and to be honest, I was happy with the money I made. I moved up to manager in less than two years, and spent two years earning in the mid fifties before I moved on to a different industry. I graduated from a decent college and made considerably more than most of my peers in the first few years out. All in all, I enjoyed the job, the people and the money. I'm proud to have worked there |

| "graduated from a decent college and made considerably more than most of my peers in the first few years out." Please man, spare usthe stuff we've already been told. When I worked at ERAC I probably made the least of all my -employed- friends. The quote above is something you just say to make yourself feel better. Even if you did make X amount more than the next guy your first couple years out of school, I bet he had X amount of hours more to go out and have a good time. On the upside, all of us have that Virtual MBA hanging up over the desk in the office. I can't even tell you how embarassing it was to tell people where I worked so don't come in here and try and preach the stuff quoted above like it's gospel. Sounds like ERAC sent you here anyway. |

| I'll be straight up and honest as the first guy. If your thinking about working for ERAC think again. Its ridiculous the shit you go through for the amount of pay. I currently work at ERAC and from the first day I have started I have not stopped job searching for a new career. At my current branch im surrounded by other educated people, as myself that have put four years of time into getting an education to come to enterprise and make $10 an hour. I can honestly say that there is not one person at my branch thats is an MT, MA or Intern that enjoys thier job. I currently work probably 11 hours a day monday through saturday, most often not even getting time for a lunch. I have spent $100's of dollars to meet ERAC dress code which is ridiculous. If you have facial hair, earings, side burns, or you got a trendy hair style prepare to rid yourself of it. Guys beware of a sexist company. Woman are allowed to wear whatever they want when it comes to clothes, as long as its professional. Men must wear blue or white LONG sleeve shirts, year round, with a tie. It is true you will find yourself washing cars in a suit during the day, or cleaning your office bathroom with your tie dangling over a toilette because they dont want to hire a cleaning crew to come in more than once a week. In all reality im not sure how someone can justify saying they were happy with the pay? If you were happy with the pay here why didnt you work at mcdonalds as a shift leader and get a free uniform? Want to get promoted at ERAC, well dont count on your actual perfomance they tell you about. Be ready to try to sell enterprise cars to customers, and refer your friends to ERAC because its such a great company for an individual with a bachelors degree. If you dont have car sale referals or employee referals, dont count on getting promoted! How is that justified on YOUR performance? In all honesty, if you dont have bills to worry about, and you dont have social life, be my guest. ERAC has opportunities to make money, but how far are you willing to go to be walked all over, treated like trash, and do a job a kid in HS could do. Dont fall for ERAC founding values of treating they're employees well and believing in full customer service. Employees never come before the customers. I guess my education must have been faulty because in management its perceived that a company is only successful when you put your employees first and employee satisfaction is at a high. ERAC employees are only happy when they load you up on alcohol at the company provided happy hours. Just keep in mind while your making $10 an hour, some asshole that runs your group is making $300k a year, and the big dog is making approx 3 million a year. Nice to know they care about someone in their company! Dont be fooled by those that bleed green, those happy go getters, they're just un-educated people entering the job market for the first time with know knowledge of business. |

| I've been reading alot of what's been written on this site about MT's having to do repos and how dangerous it can be. Is it true that since I am female, I won't have to do repos, that more than likely the BM would have a male do it? |
| |||
| Quote:
So, it isn't necessarily that since you are a female you don't have to do repos, but more that if you don't like the idea of doing repos you won't have to. Due to the nature of the action, I don't think many people in management become concerned over someone not feeling comfortable doing it. |
