Amazed

Hi, i currently live in the UK and i am about to go on a one day session with ERAC. i graduate this summer and ERAC is one of my options....right up until i saw this board...

I am amazed this is here and feel thankful i found it, its good to get another side of the story.

But i was wondering, are there any UK ERAC employees here who worked or are working on the Mgmt Training Scheme? need to know if its worth it?

Why are you amazed it is here? Anyone can put up a website. You could put up a website tomorrow for people that hate the Dallas Cowboys and it would get as much traffic as this (if there aren't already 100 of them out there).

I agree though that it is good to get both sides of the story.

Sorry i should have been more clear. i am amazed at the website for the amount of negativity directed towards one company, havn't seen websites like this before.

I'm concerned the UK ERAC will be the same, and reading through this board has kinda confirmed it. i don't particularly want to spend 4 years of university to work at a place like this!

No problem. Let us know where you end up working. If it has a large number of employees I'll throw up a website for ya and a year from now you can quit your job due to the number of people that will log into the site and tell you how bad the place sucks.

I worked on the mt scheme in the UK and in the US....Do not do it! Please.If you need a job that pays crap with long hours and no real prospects take a job at mcdonalds...its not as embaressing.Every time I think about when I told people what I did it was like a stake through the heart. I worked 60 to 70 hours a week and was paid about 15000 pounds for a whole years work.

Cheers mate. accordingly to my calculator, that works out at about £4.60 an HOUR. which if i'm not mistaken is less than minimal wage! for a university graduate!

SERIOUSLY THOUGH MATE.DO NOT TAKE THE JOB.IT IS AWFUL.I AM GOING TO MEDICAL SCHOOL NOW AND THINGS ARE GOING GREAT. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY...BOTTOM LINE...LONG HOURS.LOW PAY AND NO FUN! ITS ALL LIES!

IF A PERSON AT ENTERPRISE TELLS YOU THEY EARN A CERTAIN AMOUNT...HALF IT....MORE THAN LIKELY ITS BS!
LET ME TELL YOU A STORY.MY AREA MANAGER WHINED ON AND ON ABOUT THE GREAT MONEY HE WAS EARNING...ONE DAY I FOUND HIS W2 TAX FORM FROM THE YEAR BEFORE ON HIS DESK AS I WAS WRITING A REVIEW.

HE SAID HE EARNT 90,000 PLUS...GUESS WHAT IT SAID..ROUGHLY 45,000 USD....NOT EVEN 25,000 POUNDS A YEAR AFTER FIVE YEARS AT THE COMPANY AND CRAZY HOURS.

GUESS WHAT ELSE. HE WASNT A CRAP AREA MANAGER EITHER .......HE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE REALLY GOOD....HE QUIT LAST YEAR A FEW MONTHS BEFORE I DID.

AS WELL AS THIS I HEARD ALL ABOUT THE GREAT MONEY MANAGERS MAKE.THEN I FOUND 2 CUT UP CREDIT CARDS IN MY MANAGERS CAR WHEN HE ASKED ME TO GO AND PICK UP A CUSTOMER IN IT BECAUSE WE HAD NO CARS LEFT.I ALSO SAW HIS PAYCHECK (EMBARASSING)!

BASICALLY IF NOTHING ELSE...ERAC PAYS @#%$ UNTIL YOU HAVE BEEN THERE 10 YEARS OR SO.BUT IF YOU ARE PAID WHAT YOU ARE WORTH FOR 10 YEARS SOMEWHERE ELSE WHY NOT DO THAT INSTEAD...100,000 A YEAR WHEN YOU HIT 40 WONT MAKE UP FOR YOUR LOST YOUTH AND HORRENDOUS BODY BECAUSE OF THOSE 80 HOUR WEEKS.

It is reprehensible that ERAC appears to be nothing more than toxic smoke, funhouse mirrors, and lies, lies, lies. Lying to its employees and teaching and training employees to lie to the consumer. Add to that its cult-like nature, and you have one seriously sick company.

How wonderful it is to have a site like FailingEnterprise.com to bring all this sickness to light. It is not only a great service to ERAC customers and would-be customers, but it is a great service in helping to spread the word to enthusiastic, naive college graduates that becoming an MT for ERAC is fraught with peril, such as being worked to the bone, fed only peanuts and being required to suppress, or abandon completely, their good conscience so they can practice constant deception to others. It is ironic that ERAC management also practices the same deception to its employees and prospective employees. But, hey, isn't that how they were trained?

It won't be long before FailingEnterprise.com gets the word out to ALL potential ERAC employees, which is "RUN for your lives, in the opposite direction!"

FailingEnterprise.com is also a great forum for disgruntled customers and very weary, disenchanted employees to voice themselves.
