Default How are the benefits?

I am considering a position with Enterprise. I work for a company right now that has great benefits and I was wondering how Enterprise compares. Any comments on medical, 401K, and vacation benefits?

Mediocre at best. You are expected to "earn" your benefits in regards to six figures.... in six years.

Default Actually

Great for L3 on up I would say. Entry level compared to similar "retail" jobs probably look pretty weak. No 401k match etc. Profit sharing, but few at ERAC ever stick around long enough to vest. That in itself should tell you something.

Default Benefits

I would say poor compared to other entry level positions for college grads. No 401k match is a real problem, they claim that the profit sharing makes up for this but it takes seven years to fully vest and most employees don't stay longer than 3 years so it's completely useless. Their medical and dental is adequate and their vacation policy is terrible. The best benefit as far as I could determine was their dress for success program, basically an interest free loan paid out over 6 or so paychecks, the first one you initiate is done at a 50% discount, and each thereafter is generally discounted to a certain degree as well depending on the vendor you select. I made sure to sign up one last time before splitting.

Benefits????? We had benefits????

Gee, I was too busy being a team player to worry about seeing a doctor or visit the dentist...

Oh, wait...my mistake. We were all too busy being "team players" to take some lame vacation.

Do have to pay it all of when you left?

The benefits are completely barbaric. You use some no name health provider that charges you an arm and a leg for basic doctor visits. I had to have blood taken and I was charged close to $1,000. As for the 401k, they don't match anything (which most companies do now). Also, they have some stupid profit sharing program. Because turnover is so high, less than a 1/4 of the employees ever recieve any of that money because it takes SEVEN years to become fully vested. It's ridiculous!

I don't how it was in your group, but in my group we had UnitedHealthcare, with a $20 or $25 doctor visit copay. I hardly consider UnitedHealthcare a "no name health provider."
