Does Enterprise call your previous employers?, because in my last job I quit abruptly and didn't give them two weeks notice and they were really pissed off at me for it.

Also, why do the interviewers grill you on where else you applied to?

The job was a part time job back in college.

Don't worry. As long as you progress to the point where they take your pulse ... you are as good as hired.

i've just left the company after a year of service... don't join, you'd be better off else where!!money and hours are bad and the comany is going down the pan!

To see who they are competing against to hire you, or to help decide you are the wrong kind of candidate... basically are your other interviews with sales/service positions.

Don't do it. You'll be miserable. There is a reason this company cannot retain a little more than 50% of its' workforce on an annual basis. Keep in mind, the retention figure includes every department, not just rental. In rental it is right at 50% or below.
