You should have heard back by now if not by Tuesday at the latest. Some things may determine the time it takes them to get back to you. If the ARM is available, the recruiter themselves being slow. In all honesty I think you SHOULD find out for yourself especially since no one knows what area you are looking in. Give it a chance since you may be the one who likes the job and is very successful. You should call them on Monday if you don;t hear anything or get the letter.

Take this as a lesson learned and get a job somewhere else.
Well if I am smart enough to find this then don't you think I'd know better than to bring it up in an interview? Plus I've had friends who have worked with the company and they never seemed to have it as bad as you all say - but they did have to work very hard.
There are not a plethora of jobs elsewhere.

You mean you don't go in all your interviews and say something along the lines of, "I was reading FailingBusinessIAmInterviewingAt.com and they said you suck pretty bad, is there any truth to that?"

What the Admin of this site usually does is ask new people to go into an interview and mention this site. They don't do it, but after they fail the interview they come back here and say they did and that not getting the job is the best thing that ever happened to them. That is what this site is all about.

My advice....
Only take the job if you really don't mind stressful work and long hours. Working at Enterprise can be really tiring and unpleasant. It can also be very rewarding and there is a lot to be learned as long as you apply yourself and pay attention to what makes the business tick. If you don't have anything else going on right now I would recommend going for it. If you don't like it you can easily leave and you won't be any worse off than you are right now.

Honestly, I've had many people ask me what I don't like about my job...during an interview. I tell them....holding nothing back. But at the same time, I think most are smart enough to realize that it must not be all that bad if I was willing to spend the last 10 years of my life there....

Well, if you interviewed Monday and you haven't heard back yet, I think your chances may be slim. I hope not if this is what you want. Just know that ERAC has the "close the sale" mentality for everything, including new hires that they want. If they were impressed you would have gotten a call the next day. Then again, the company pinches pennies and may be stalling. no reason to pay you your $9.00 an hour for a week or two if they can put it off a little longer. Do what you want, but my advice would be to find anything else. I say that honestly and sincerely. I agree that it is good not to let someone influence you if they are biased. I am not disgruntled..it can be great for the right person under ideal circumstances, but there is a reason the company has the turnover it does....think about it. Is it really because all these college grads couldn't "hack it" or is it because the opportunity is not what it is cracked up to be and the company shows little concern for it's employees. Best of luck to you in whatever decision you make or whatever offer comes your way.

You know, I am too. Once, someone told me that the stove was hot, but I had to touch it myself to make sure.

At the zoo, they told me the alligators bite. But I had to see for myself, and now I'm missing a hand.

Apparently, it's best to drive on the right side of the road. I tried the left side, but I kept getting in head-on collisions.

Well I guess I will never know for myself because I got "the letter" today telling me I won't be going any further in the process...

That rejection letter was probably the best thing to happen to you in your professional career. Sure, rejection does hurt.... but coming from a former Enterprise employee, just be persistent and the job that you do land in the near future will provide you far more opportunity than what Enterprise would have been able to offer.

That's a pretty bold statement...
