I agree with the 500 number, I think it's from people committing suicide after realizing they rent cars for a living!

ok, this is what is bothering me, i have an interview with ERAC this month, but now that i have done the math i can clearly see that this company is shitty.

Mangement trainee program: 30,000 yr.

Math: 30,000/12 = 2500

2500/4 = 625

625/(60 hr per wk labor) = a measly $10.42 an hr. BEFORE TAXES!

lmao, i SEE WHY YOU PEOPLE ARE PISSED OFF!!!!! HA HA HA ...10.42
AN HR WITH A COLLEGE DEGREE...VERY SAD!

Something is going on here... does anyone else see the trend? ERAC is hiring 7% more employee this year than in 2004 yet their employee base is and has not grown all that much over the past 5 years. This must mean that more and more people are growing frustrated with ERAC and leaving, thus the steady rise of new hires each year.

With them having 25% growth a year...it makes sense.

I just left ERAC 3 weeks ago....I was with ERAC for almost 7 years....I have seen so many bright eyed and eager grads come in here and leave crushed and demoralized. When they open up and see the numbers on that first pay stub....YOu have only the company answer...It will get better work hard and get to the next levels...*sigh* Its amazing I worked my two weeks and I did my exit interview and the HR person was envious of the 9-5 job i got..she actually said that.......

YOu know how erac is going to spin this though. typical ARM, RRM or HR recruiter "we're doing so damn well that we have been hiring an increasing number of individuals each year. By the end of the decade we should be hiring 10,000 more new employees that year. Creating great oppurtunity for all new employees and helping them develop a succesful career."
Translation of previous quote i got from Translate.com
"We are so full of crap that employees are leaving at a record pace. By the end of the decade we will be hiring over 10,000 new employees to replace the 17,000 who left. THus insuring you will be short staffed and over worked your entire tenure. Not career because only lying, shady individuals stay here their entire career and that's because they can't hack it in a real business enviroment."

ERAC works very hard at keeping up the lie that "Enterprise is a fun and friendly place to work where teamwork rules".

When interviewing, everyone in the branches is all "it's great!" "Awesome" "I love it." What the interviewee doesn't know is that you get PUSHED OUT or FIRED or BLACKBALLED if you say anything negative about the job. It's the equivalent of a gun being put to your head.

My ARM used to have me "fill in" at other offices when he needed to interview at mine. He lost three candidates because i was honest.

I dont know where you live..but in my region (20DD-Chris Buck)..the numbers were as follows:

9.42*40 = 376.8 (Weekly)

376.8*4 = 1507.2 (Monthly)

1507.2*12 = 18086.40 (Yearly)

No need to calculate Overtime...pointless...You can make that @ Taco Bell!
