Default Just graduated, went through whole Interviewing process

I live in Michigan and just graduated from Oakland University. I went through the entire interviewing process (had no knowledge of this site) and nailed all the interviews. I was excited at the proposition of having a job right out of college; especially something that looked so enticing as Enterprise. On the surface everthing looked great and I was pumped. Everything I filled out said to write down any traffic offenses within the last FIVE years, well five and a half years ago, my senior year of high school, I was charged with attempting to flee; on a fishing trip, no booze, nothing, had no clue a cop wanted to pull me over, turned off the main road and I guess that equals attempting to flee. Lost my license for a year, cost $2500 and it was the worst feeling in the world to have that done when I honestly did not do anything to warrant that... Well, anyways, that is now off my record (the insurance company doesnt recognize it) and I have no points whatsoever on my record in the past five years. Now here is why I am writing this post. They didn't even have the audacity to call me and let me know, I went through their whole interviewing process, waited for five days and when I finally got in contact with them, the recruiter said "You didn't get the letter in the mail?" We chose to pursue other candidates. At the time she did not tell me that it had to do with the ticket, which by the way is a misdomeanor, FIVE AND A HALF YEARS AGO. I mean at least have the nut sack to tell me why I wasn't hired (found out through a friend of a friend who works there why I was passed on). Anyways, I was crushed and felt like the perfect opportunity had passed me by and that something that happend five and a half years ago was keeping me from a job that looked so great on the surface. I am so grateful for this website because now I feel as if I dodged a bullet not working for this company. Also, I thank God that he had something better for me because I just got hired as a banker for quicken loans doing mortgages, which ultimately will allow me to make a lot more money.

Don't worry.. I hear there is a large need for get-a-way drivers.

All any branch needs is a risk like you to hit their reserves!

I can't believe you didn't make it, if you were drunk off your ass when you ran from the cops, ERAC wouldv'e hired you on the spot! You would have fit in so well.

You can actually sue for defamation. They can't give you one reason and tell someone else another. It's why most comes use very broad rejection notices like, "we went with other candidates" or "we chose to go a different direction." If they say you weren't hired because they went with other candidates and they are defaming you by saying anything else. If you consult an attorney they'd probably be able to clarify it a little better.

Who would want to waste their money by suing a shitty company like Enterprise? He should be happy he doesn't have to work there, and move on.

You really are a moron I suspect. If he has a case, the attorney will usually just take a third of the settlement. Most attorney will also hear your case for no charge and then POSSIBLY charge a retainer if the case is weak (but you wish to proceed).

I wish ERAC didn't hire me. Count your blessings my friend. Not getting hired at this horrible company is the best thing that ever happened to you.

If a moron is someone who doesn't think we should clog up our legal system with frivolous lawsuits, then I am a moron. Just a tip from me to you, look in the mirror before you call anyone names, you will get a rude awakening.

P.S. Cut it out with the Chuck Norris bullshit, it's not funny anymore, and you come off as a jackass for keeping it going.

P.P.S. Merry Christmas!
