Holy shit! I just found this site and have already said that I would work next week. I am quite frightend after reading this site. I have an interview scheduled next week that I was going to cancel on but after reading this I think that I will keep that appointment. I am an honest person and I really don't think I can stand to be put in unethical situations on a daily basis! But that is my problem now...I'm one of those people who have difficulty resigning. I will feel really bad starting with the company and then leaving shortly thereafter. The other company has 401k match and full benefits from day one. I just don't know if i will get it or not. I guess I will work at Enterprise and if the other job comes through I can just quit. Will it cause too much of a disruption to quit and would it be a good idea to do it in person? Ugh..I hope that I get this other job or you may see me appying in the other sections soon!!!!!!

hope you get the other job. try to get a bit of experience through erac though, even if it's just getting into a mindset of working hard.

RUN JULIE.....RUN RUN RUN. This job BLOWS, and you will be so much better of not even going. 50% retention is screaming to you that this company sucks.(and that is with all the numbers playing that we all know goes on behind the scenes to make this number look as good as it can) How many trainees are there now? 20,000??? That means 10,000 trainees QUIT last year.....think about that! Can 10,000 trainees be wrong?????

Reply With Quote You owe nothing to ERAC, just call leave a voice mail or E-mail the recruiter and just decline the offer now. They will give you the guilt trip of a lifetime, but stick to how great the other offer is. And good luck. |

My advice is to follow your inner feelings. If you have nervous or skeptical feelings about ERAC then there is probaly a good reason for it. I actually came to ERAC from a very stressful job. I only worked 40 hours a week and make 60k a year before working ERAC. Because my old job was so stressful ERAC was a slice of cake for me during my first 2 months. However, I began to get sick of the 60 plus hours a week and the $10 an hour pay. I was losing my social life, my gym time and I was barely making ends meet. I resigned from Enterprise and Im currently in the process of getting back to my 40-60k a year job and have no regrets leaving ERAC. Looking back I had no business taking a job like ERAC. ERAC is only a temporary job, only a very small percentage actually make a career out of it.
