The easiest way for them to change is to bring in new blood, have the new hires work less hours and then guess what, they can improve on other aspects of the business.....now I am behind you on the ERAC sucks thing but for change to come about they need to hire hew people.....when a pro sports team "rebuilds" becuse they suck they don't skip the draft and stick with the same old players...they get new ones....just some food for thought.
No, No, No rebuilding needs to start at the top. Pro teams if they aren't performing don't whack the players out, the coach and the GM are the first ones blamed. It won't matter if erac hires new people because they won't stay long enough to make those changes and if they do then we know they are bleeding green like all mid to upper management. CHange needs to start at the top, not at the bottom.

I would also have to say though that there is some embelishing going on with some of the stories and I just laugh when I see some of the stuff on the website that people say happened. ERAC is not perfect, nor is any other company but talking shit about them is most definitely fun!!

and did you tell them how little they would make and how the well has dried up from the 90s when erac was experiencing so much "growth and oppurtunity?"

Oh of course I told them that. Actually there was plenty of growth in my group to support most of the tings we told them but we never once use 6 figures in 6 years or any of that other shit. It was honesty up front information we would say it was hard work, not much money and if you made the right moves and had the performance numbers it could be a good career which is true. There are just political factors involved I was just not too keen on so I bounced on ERAC.

I agree with your statement but how much impact have you really seen a coach make in their first season. Roy Williams took a few years and he is probably the best coaching change I can think of is any sport. Larry Brown had a good team and it took him some time, Phil Jackson only takes over teams that have insane talent but look at what the shit lakers are doing now. Players play and coaches coach but until the employees that are burnt out are refreshed with new hires then there is no one to change. I agree upper management needs a foot in the ass and could probably stand to be canned.

Yeah, but if the frachise sucks, then you can sign all the top players you want. They'll eventually get sick of playing for your team and ask to be traded.

Okay fine fire all upper management and keep the already warped people who are burnt and frustrated. The actual best way is the take the best people, and can all the rest and start over but ERAC cannot just fire their level 3 and above people because of their issues with loyalty. They are loyal to those who have kissed enough ass to get to get the were they are at and no one else. I heard of a RRM who was doing coke in branches and with employess and only had to go to rehab because his region was doing 200 per car OP. Loyalty and money go a long way.

First rule of management, everything is your fault. That's why when things go bad you are the first one gone. No one fired the janitors at disneyland when they're numbers went down, Michael Eisner was outted. Granted in a much more professional and PC way than any ex eracer ever will be. Microsoft stock goes down, no blames tech support, they go straight to bill gates. When the Trump Taj Mahal went bankrupt, it wasn't the blackjack dealers that got fired.

The point is change needs to come from the top first if ever real change is going to be made.

I agree with you but it aint gonna happen so the focus may as well be on getting more reps to help out. It ain't rocket science by any stretch of the imagination but it also is not easy. Its a lot of shit to deal with and honsety up front is the key to having successful branches. I never saw my RRM except at meetings so he had no real effect unless he was denying me the ability to become an ARM. Fuck em' all I say though. I got the last laugh and that is all that matters (See neat things to do before quitting)

They should just send in Vin Diesel, Mr. T, and Chuck Norris to clean house. Things would change real quick!

Don't forget David Hasselhoff (Michael Knight not Baywatch). That was one tight pair of jeans and one hell of a blowout (Afro for you non black people hairstyle knowers).
