 Enterprise couple who blead green
Just stumbed across this site... simply amazing and unbelievably accurate!
I worked for Enterprise for 3 years before I got fed up with the all the political bs and jumping through hoops. Did well for a while, was rookie of the year and worked my way up to branch manager in my first year while focused on the phantom Enterprise dream! I finally realized it was all smoke and mirrors and got out quick!
My wife also worked for the company, most recently as a RECRUITER!!! Can you imagine the guilt she experienced for having to push all that crap? She just quit for another recruiting position with another company after being royally screwed. You see, she was told that if she achieved Exceptional Achievment standards for a recruiter, she would be promoted from a level II recruiting supervisor to a level III recruiting manager. After doing this the first year in the position, she was congratulated but told she really needed more of a track record for the promotion. After doing it again in her second year, she was told by her Group Rental Manager making $250k per year that it simply wasn't in the budget to give her this promised, deserved and earned raise... obviously... I mean the group was making OP of $100+ per car and her raise would pull profitablility down to $100+ per car.
Needless to say, what took me 3 years to figure out, took her 5.5 years, but now we're happy in great new jobs and laughing our asses off at this site recounting our past.  |
