Default Do employees get any benefits from?

I wanted to know if erac employees get any beneficiary discounts from insurance companies or auto shops that they work with? It might be a general question, but I think you will know what I am trying to ask. I have a car that needs some fixing, detailing, would Enterprise be a help if I work for them? THanks

Ask the service department of a shop you work with, the key is to ask the service writer you have the most rapport with, the one you think won't screw you (I know, it's almost impossible). It worked for me. Just told him that I needed help getting my car fixed and didn't want to get screwed on the cost and he kept it reasonable. There is no OFFICIAL rebate or deal in most places if that's what you're asking. Some rental branches would just toss the keys to their personal vehicles to the service guys that work on their rentals and they would bill the employee the same rate (bulk deal) as they would bill ERAC.

Now let someone who knows what they are talking about answer your question (just kidding bleed). If you go to a Firestone, they have a national discount for ERAC employees on tires and other repairs. Most of the time if you need your car detailed you can find a local mobile detailer (if your area has one) and they usually do it for the same price. Dealerships will rip you off because they service writers have little pull. Even the service manager can screw you over. Unless you are the manager or Asst Manager you usually never get a discount (unless you are hot). Also, make sure you get a couple different quotes as well. Let me know what you come up with.

Talk to your vehicle repair coordinator, they should know someone at one of the shops they use who can get you a deal.

If all else fails act like a typical customer. Service writers and repair shops have it worse than us when it comes to getting bitched at. so just act like you are irate and get indignant.

ouch! you bite. Okay, so no one told me we have a national discount at Firestone. Although I hate my local Firestone since they change managers anyway. Firestone will work if it's just typical maintenance stuff. Dealership gets you if it's anything heavy-duty.

That was funny. This is always a last resort for me. Always an option. I've only had to use it once in the past year or so...but it was worth it.

You can also get discounts after you quit, just flash an old business card at Firestone, $10.99 oil changes for life!!! Also don't forget to get a fairly high level employees # before you quit that way you can also get the employee family discount for life, just helping to keep OP down anyway I can.

Anyone who put in time as an e-chimp knows how to work it when they become a human again.
