Default A Web of Lies

First of all, I would like to thank everyone on this board for this sole purpose. I almost fell into beartrap that is the Enterprise Management Trainee program, but narrowly escaped upon discover of this board. While waiting for my interview, I noticed that the office was filled with very very young employees who excessively used the word "dawg". I do admit that the employees of ERAC i did meet were very nice.

When I asked current MT's about how they liked working at ERAC, most of them told me they liked it. But, however, I noticed the "good points" about ERAC they kept pointing out was that they "got to get drunk" during work, or were able to "f*ck around" when it wasn't busy (which I'm guessing is quite rare). It just seemed like this was a dream job for a semi-slacker. Im sorry, but if I wanted to get drunk and f*ck around, I'd never leave college. I also, thanks to this board, asked about retention. I was told that retention was "high" (I was never given a specific %), and that a BM would be let go if the areas retention was too low. Given from what people on this board have discussed, this is obviously not true. Ok, so heres the run down.

If you don't mind making 32K (INCLUDING overtime) a year, wearing a suit every day while washing cars, working on Saturdays (9-12 or 9-1) and about 60 hours a week - take the job.

Unfortunately, I wasn't willing to take this "generous" offer.

For those of you who are still thinking about interviewing, I would recommend going to the first round interview just to get a good view of whats going on. Here are some tips: Just tell them you love doing sales, and hound on the experience you have in sales. Oh yeah, also tell them salary is not important to you.

Again, thank you board members for opening my eyes.

I'm guessing you were at best a C+ student, and if you had an A or B grade point average, it was in ball room dancing. Why don't you just take the job cause that is the best job you can get. If you can get a job with a better company, you would never have even considered Enterprise.

I do value the individual opinions of everybody that comes onto this board, and appreciate any valid contributions. With that being said, I can't believe what you just wrote. What could possibly give you that impression about this poster? They seemed very intelligent and extremely well-written/spoken, yet because they chose not to take a job with Enteprise, you attack them? They weren't even attacking the company - just making observations and making their own decisions. My God, get your head out of the green sand and actually think about what you post before hitting that submit button.

No. I am guessing you were. You are an idiot - wake up and realize that you are brain washed!! No put down people just because they make better decisions than you do.

If anyone is stupid than its you. This person wrote a good post and just because he saw the green scam and did not take the job does not give you any right to bag on them. You are the real idiot!
