Default Rejected

I recently had my first interview with Enterprise and it went really really well. I am graduating from college in may and moving to Charlotte, NC (Im from PA) and interviewed in Hickory, NC. I have a great GPA and thought I really impressed my interviewer, we talked for over an hour.

After reading this site yesterday,I decided not to go furhter with this company.

I got a letter today stating they chose another canidate. I feel so rejected. I cant help but wondering why they wouldnt want me to work for them. I know I wouldnt have anyway but it sounds like they hire anyone, according to this site????

They accept anybody w/ a pulse, maybe you didn't talk much about your sales ability. Anyway you look at it, it is pretty sad..

You probably mentioned that you have a wife/gf or children that are very important to you and you are looking to provide and spend time with them. If not the family you probably mentioned having outside interests that don't include 'dub' sales or corporate happy hours or 'making an impact'

ERAC likes to steer clear of folks who have high GPAs sometimes. It shows they might be able to think independently.

Jack Taylor even talks about this in his book Exceeding Expectations (yes, I read it) that folks who do well at ERAC aren't neccessarily the smartest, but the most enthusiastic. He mentions people that were in sororities and fraternities in college tend to do well (used to being brainwashed.)

Please don't feel bad. It sucks when a company doesn't want you, even if you don't want them. Take it as a compliment that they didn't want to hire someone too smart.

I was rejected from them too about a month ago for a MT position. Seeing that I am graduating from my college next week magna cum laude I am not surprised that I was not selected. I could tell that no one that worked there had much intelligence, yet they would have made amazing cheerleaders.

They rejected me right before I graduated college because I told them I wanted to get my MBA. They said I was too focused on my education and not my career goals, whatever...

You probably have a brain that they realize they coudn't eventually overtake or you have a major that has nothing to do with business (like education or science).Look at this as one of those little blessings from above. TRUST ME!!

This is the best thing that ever happened to you. Do not ask any more questions.
