I'm sure there are plenty of organizations that are worse to work for more than Erac. It still doesn't mean enterprise is a solid company to be employed at. It just means that it may suck dick just a little less that what someone else has previously experienced. It's all relative. I think that the people that say erac is a great company to work for either:
Had even worse work experience at a former company or two, so enterprise seems like it's not as bad. (These people are just comparing cochroach shit to termite crap).
Got into erac during the golden years, where actual opportunity exists and they did fairly well. (These people are sorely in need of a calender because they tend to forget that it's currently 2006 and not 1995).
Are currently at the top of their game right now, not realizing that they could easily become a zero tomorrow. (These people people often have their heads in the sand and when the reality of erac hits them, they get a rude awakening).
People who were not in rental long enough to see Enterprise for what it truly is, who now have some easy admin position. (These people happen to be in a position that they somewhat enjoy, so enterprise is not that bad to THEM).
All 4 of these ways to view enterprise do not change the cold reality that erac is no different than any other money grubbing, greedy, unloyal to employees, and power hungry company out there. They represent everything wrong with big business.
