Default Management Trainee Internship

Is the interview process for MT the same for an intern? Are there really 3 interviews and if so, what kind of questions will be asked?

When I went in, I had an interview with the Human Resources lady. I then was asked to come back in, observe a branch for an hour before an interview with the area manager. Got hired on the spot after the interview, asked to think about it, found this website, called back and declined the offer.

Is the internship really that bad too? What other internship offers do you have?

Another save by Failing Enterprise. I hope you told them why you declined their offer so they can start putting two and two together.

Uhhhh. Yes. Call it "the wasted summer..." Do you really want to work 60 hrs/week during the summer?

ERAC isn't trying to do any favors offering an internship program. It just so happens summer is the busiest time. What better way to hire sharp go getters, pay them next to nothing, and then have them leave at the end of the rush.

You are everyone's biatch as an intern. If you are a girl, all of the sleazy ERAC guys will hit on you. If you are a guy, some of them might anyway.

Bottom line----------------------don't do it. Get an unpaid internship during the day if you have to and bartend at night. You'll probably end up making more $$ and working less that way.

Holy shit. Are they that hard up for employees over there?

Does ERAC try the same 60+ hour work week in the UK?

Retention is in the shitter. They employed a shed load of preps about 18 months ago to fill the branches,we had more preps than MT's at our branch 6 months ago. They have now stopped employing preps,If one leaves they will make a prep move to a branch thats miles away so he will quit aswell untill the area has it's new much lower quota of preps. Also there is a manager (DL)who has pissed of enough staff in the last 8 months to open 2 new branches.

In U3 we get 3 hrs off during the week for working on a saturday.I got a lie in one morning this week and without tomorows(saturday) hours I have done 53 hours. So that would be a big YES.

MTs and Interns are one in the same.

Both do 3 interviews: one with HR, one with ARM, and one with the GRM.

If you do the internship , be prepared to have little free time. I doubt washing cars qualifies you for credit at whatever institution you study at. I will say having an internship helped on my resume though, however, all I learned from ERAC was how NOT to do business ethically.
