I have been offered a job in one of the NY offices, any idea what the hours are like in those offices? I know what I have been told and how the pay kind of works out, but I haven't signed anything yet and I want to make sure that I am not getting screwed. Any information would be much appreciated.

Thanks! :-)

Look up your future branch on enterprise.com to check the posted hours. Then add 30 minutes on the front and back end to give you an idea of hours in the week. Then add on happy hours, award ceremonies, marketing events, "training sessions" and the like....oh wait, you dont get paid for those (but you have to go).

You will be running, and screamed at from 7am to 7pm, without a lunch.

For 24K a year.

You will need to apply for foodstamps and HUD, for housing.

All these "great" managers that let their employees go home early (you know, to give them "only" 48-50 hrs a week) are a joke. They dont care about employee morale, they care about keeping labor costs low! When you work as a management trainee, you are not paid salary, but paid hourly. So when your manager sends you home, you don't get paid! Since you make less than $10 an hour, any decrease in hours takes away from your overtime which drastically cuts into your already pathetic paycheck.

Don't even THINK about working at this place. I finally escaped and everyday I wake up I thank God I dont have to go wash cars in a suit and deal with retail customers. It is a lousy job. One poster on another thread said that you need to treat ERAC "as an internship, as it gets better later" Well, college is the time for internships. You get out of college and real life slaps you in the face...and you wake up and realize you are miserable, overworked, not respected, dead broke, and are stuck in a job you hate with no time to search for another one.

Stay as far away as you can!!!
