56k/year - mon-fri 9a-6p

i currently work 9a-6p mon- fri and make 55k year with bonuses on average, the only thing is i hate my boss and want to quit- would anyone say that you could ever make this money at this job with these hours? or would i be wasting my life working for this company??

You would be working more hours, making less money, and would probably be working a whole lot harder than you are right now (if you are doing some sort of regular office job). Also it is the norm for Enterprise to promote salespeople (picture an excited, smiling, used car salesman with a college degree) so there is a good chance your boss at Enterprise would be a bigger dick than the one you have right now.

Please reconsider your interest in working for Enterprise. Making $55,000 and working 9-6 Monday through Friday is to die for, and simply unheard of at Enterprise. Your current salary reflects that of a Level III Enterprise employee who has 5 or more years with the company, and it is very rare that an individual stays on board that long. I would advise trying to mend relations with your current boss and stay with your current career. Or continue to search until you find an avenue that best fitss you and your desired compensation. But Enterprise, based on the information you provide to us, would indeed be a waste of your time, as it was for 2 1/2 years of mine.

I just wanted to say that all of these people have dramatically understated the hell you will put yourself through on your journey to $56k. I was making @ 60k as a branch manager when I quit, and that was pretty good. The only problem is that I was being paid helf of what I should have been paid to do the job. It's like this: you are constantly being challenged to accomplish something that can just barely be accomplished; in other words- if you do a perfect job, you might be recognized as being a decent employee at best. You just don't know how good you have it, that's all. If you really hate your boss that much, go find a job shoveling shit before you consider ERAC. For real.

At ERAC starting salary is about $11 an hour.

Less than 5% of the people who go through ERAC's doors make it to Area Manager and Higher.

Managers can make a ton of money at a large, busy branch say...at an airport location. BUT you are seriously selling your soul to the Green Devil
