Default ERAC earns most complaints on Ripoff report

If you go to the website Ripoffreport.com you will see that ERAC has 30 complaints lodged against them. The breakdown of complaints is as follows:


1. Enterprise 30 complaints
2. Budget Rent a car 19 complaints
3. Hertz 5 complaints
4. Avis 3 complaints
5. Thrifty 1 complaint

The complaints pretty much mirror those on this website. Con't rent from ERAC they'll let you down, rip you off and screw you over.

With the exception of Budget being ranked 2nd, these number pretty much mirror the market share %'s....nice try though. Or Enterprise renters are just smarter and actually know how to use a computer.

And that doesn't even factor in the fact that complaints about Enterprise are probably vastly underrepresented there because anyone searching for "Enterprise complaints" or anything similar would find us ranked much higher and would come to Failing Enterprise first and complain here.

Why is it that Enterprise has a web site with 45,000 messages on it while the other national chains have essentially zero?

Anyone who tries to convince you that "every rental car company has a similar level of complaints" is either ignorant or lying.

LOL!!! That statement alone makes me wonder if this guy ever worked in rental. Most of the folks I rent to are complete idiots and certainly don't have the cash to buy a computer.

OK then...they're assholes who have never actually earned anything or gotten anywhere in life on their own....and see a benefit from bitching about stuff. Sort of like Admin.....or all the Democrats I know.

It's typical that you start calling names when you can't come up with valid answers. You have no tolerance for even your fellow employees. Weren't you the one who posted that you were tired of employee's stupid questions about benefits whenever they had a question for you in HR? Weren't you the one to tell them go read your benefits book? You are one factor in a pile of operational issues that have turnover soaring and customers angry.

Wasn't me you're quoting...I'm not in HR nor have I ever been. I have a ton of tolerance for my employees and have never stated otherwise. See my post on "white shirts" and developing incentives for employees.

I will, however, call "certain" customers assholes if they earn the title. Remember that this is an extremely SMALL percentage of customers. Most renters I've dealt with are GREAT people just looking for decent service at a decent price...much like myself if I were in their shoes.

I do think that some folks are extreme and are looking for something for nothing. Admin certainly being one of them.

I've discussed the pay issue before, retention and customer service ratings have never been higher in the 50 years of ERAC's history...and your quotes about me were inaccurate. Check your "facts", Pal, before spewing garbarge.
