What to expect at an interview

Please post back to this site from time to time with your work experience as you go along. Tell us your likes/dislikes. I am betting that you will see that about 90% of what is bitched about on this site is true. Good luck and hope to read future posts.

thanks guys. I'm considering canceling my interview, not just because of this site but I have another interview at a different company that same day, which is closer to what I like to do.

Absolutely right! This site would not exist if ERAC were a quality company to work for. People post on here for a reason, and that reason is to hopefully dissuade young and naive college graduates (as we were not too long ago) from being lured into a sieve. The grass is greener elsewhere, trust each and every one of us.

You all are a bunch of hopeless loosers that complain and accomplish nothing. Enterprise provides a top-nocth service, and has enriched the lives of thousands and thousands of dedicaited employees. In the 6 months I have been with Enterprise, I have studied there successful business model and apply it to life. I will succeed because I'm focused on customer service, and Enterprise will see this. Nobody starts at the top of the pile, but with hard work, prerseverance and a postive attitude one can make it. You guys are all sore because you did not make it happen.

It's obvious that ERAC is all you have going for you; your spelling and grammar in your posts shows the lack of necessary communication skills necessary to succeed elsewhere.

I worked for ERAC for 8 months before landing a job as an Account Exec. with another company. Just a thought - while you work at ERAC be mindful of the number of "Congradulations to ..... for being promoted to Assistant Manager/ Branch Manager" emails you will get from HR. Then ask your recruiter after they have had a few drinks just how many new M.T.'s are hired in your business group each year. Then keep track of how many "go-getters" like yourself (or anybody for that matter) get promoted to Area Manager or above in your business group each year. Your odds of success are literally a fraction of a fraction. Even 15% of insurance salesman are able to build a book of business capable of providing a decent income. Maybe, just maybe, you are that diamond in the rough, that one extraordinary individual that not only survives ERAC but strives there. Then more power to you; however, IF you keep track of the promotions, # of new hires, and # of promotions to Level 4 and above as a suggest, then you will see you are gambling your future on odds that would make a slot machine look generous. I knew guys with your attitude while I worked at ERAC and do you know what? They are assistant managers and branch managers now working 60-70 hour weeks while making less money than your average plumber. I am not in any way insulting ERAC's business model or path for promotion within the organization. You sound like a positive & loyal individual - please keep your eyes open for opportunities outside of ERAC. They are there. ERAC is not the only company that offers promotions or the potential for generating a great income for your family. Other companies do these things every day. The very fact that ERAC drills each and every employee (often) on just how financially sucessfull they might be should be raising a red flag for you. It is your life though...

You will either have to take a second job to afford rent or apply for HUD housing, if you do not want to move back into your parent's house. You will also work on average 60 hours a week, without a lunch break. You will want to kill yourself after a month. I worked this shit for 2 years, and wish to God I would have quit earlier.

It's the worst possible thing in life. You will lose every one of your friends, your girlfriend or wife, all of your free time and your health.

Enterprise destroys lives.
