| First, I would like to preface this note by saying that I think it's great that you have this website and that people definitely need an outlet for their grievances. That being said, any dedicated, intelligent person reading this should understand the volitilities regarding the rental car market. Enterprise is especially affected by this because, as anyone doing actual research on this topic would know, the majority of their business is in the insurance market where you are constantly subject to the work of others including the insurance adjustor, the body shop, whatever company is shipping parts, etc. and it is not easy to determine an exact return date/time for the majority of their fleet. Also, Enterprise was recently featured in Fortune magazine as THE most bankable rental company in the business. As stated in that article, Enterpise has a standing record (nationwide average) of 80% of their customers saying they were "completely satisfied" with the CUSTOMER SERVICE they recieved at Enterprise. This is an especially impressive number considering that does not take into account ANYONE who might say "somewhat satisfied." I firmly believe that this website, while a useful tool for those who have a legimate issue with enterprise, is nothing more than a childish outlet for those of you who could not cut it working ERAC or, worse, a forum for those people who have such a sense of entitlement that they believe that the entire world needs to stop for them and their selfish needs and constantly neglect any sort of patience or understanding for anything. Sometimes things don't work out so well, and sometimes they work out great. Eighty percent of the time, things work out great for ERAC renters and of the remaining 20%, you'd have to acknowledge that some, if not the majority, of that number is made up of instances where things work out "good." Still, I hardly think that enterprise is the evil and vindictive company that some people have attempted to make it out to be. One thing that you cannot argue is the numbers...and I hope that if you're among the small percentage of customers who is less than completely satisfied with ERAC's service, that you have some sort of understanding of what those kids do, day in and day out, to try to earn your complete satisfaction before insulting them and questioning their honesty, integrity, and character. And, lastly, if you are a former ERAC employee, or non-partial onlooker, I would encourage you to act your age and realize that you are not entitled to anything in this world. As you saw during your stint at ERAC, there are people who are extremely successful and they started in the same, nay a worse position than you did. (Computers and technology have made this an increasingly easier job than it was in years past.) I understand that you probably thought you deserved more money because you went to college or because some of your friends made more coming out of school than you did, and I accept (not respect) your views on what you're 'entitled' to. I think it is unfortunate that you could not make it through what is normally a relatively brief period of washing cars and picking up customers, etc. to see the fruits of labor realized with a higher position involving golfing and company outings. Forget that the average retirement age of an ERAC employee is under 55 years old, forget that you'll be done working and start traveling the globe a decade before most people, forget that you are possibly missing out on what could be a tremendous opportunity for a distinguished career with a highly distinguished company, and just remember that the majority of negative comments on this site are from those of you who JUST COULD NOT HACK IT in a somewhat demanding position and LACKED THE INTELLIGENCE to realize that millionaires, aside from lottery winners, are not made overnight and are just bitter because of it. |

| Are you for real??? What a freakin' tool. ERAC is a shit company and any informed individual with at least a middle school education and an interested eye for business can see that their "churn and burn" attitude will eventually bite them in the ass. I am embarrassed to have worked for that company, and regardless of the "skills" that I learned while inside the cult, my time would have been spent better working with a real company. |

| I think I can speak for every ex-employee on this board when I tell you to drink a tall glass of "Shut the fuck up". Everybody on this board gave 110%, stayed late, came in on their days off (if they worked at an airport, which I did) dealt with some of the lowest forms of life that ever graced the face of the earth, did repos, cleaned up some of the flithiest shit you could deal with while having a college degree from a major university, all while being told you were "well on your way". I was embarrased to know people I did better than or were classmates with were working for Pepsi, medical technicians, Chase Bank, Macy's, JcPenney, Hospitals, research assistants, at universities and have customers I picked up ask me "so when do you plan on going to college" or being shocked I had a degree! Nobody can continually take making $9.65 working 55-60 hours a week, having 6 minivan and SUV reservations with a Cobalt outside that needs a LOFR. The bullshit that this company is seriously put me on suicide watch and I came out guns blazing for this company! I saw Assistants try to sell me the dream while ready to quit themselves! Don't you find it odd that everyone is 25 and under and there are always promotions?!?! Cause everyone hits that 3-month and looks in the mirror of "WTF am I doing with my life!?!" You're taught to lie from DAY ONE (every company makes you stretch the truth, but come the fuck on, there ain't a car for 10 miles for this customer, and "it's getting washed right now" is bullshit). This company is so far behind in technology it's a joke. RALPH is fucking Atari, and they JUST GOT EMAIL IN APRIL! Why should you have to go to all these jump and F7 screens...everything should be drag and click, making these things a LOT smoother while showing REAL availability. If "not hacking it" means not getting paid below a high school dropout, being continually disrespected by customers and accounts, attempted to be boozed continually by management cause of the bullshit they know you got to deal with, never honoring your reservations having 20 seconds to eat or working in conditions a clothing sweatshop would laugh at, then you're damn right we couldn't hack it! I lasted 8 months, and I can't believe I put up with that bullshit to this day...and I'm a fucking bright person..like everyone else who out knows what's up. |

I agree with everything except your last paragraph. This makes me think you work in HR for ERAC. ERAC is not a permanent position. Getting the the GM position has similar odds of hitting the lottery. In my situation, I had a 2 year business diploma(no real job experience). I got in, I managed 2 branches in 3 1/2 years, I got my experience, and I got out. I got a job that, if it wasn't for my management experience, I would never have got in. ERAC is a stepping stone for any college grad. I would recommend ERAC to anybody I know, but only for the short-term (and if they had NO experience). The problem with the people on this website is that they stayed too long. Now they are just bitter cunts (all the while making excuses on why they HAD to stay). If your man beats you, you leave him. If you hate your parents, move out. If you hate your job, find a new one. Plain and fuckin' simple. But again, this is no "career" or long term option. Washing cars in a suit is just inexcusable (along with other things like the hours, starting pay, bullshit cult atmosphere, 'the game' you have to play). ERAC mirrors a cult and a fraternity and nobody should ever ride it out with them. (But hey, if you hit your timing right and you are an ARM in 3/4 years, more power to you!). You take the job with a grain of salt (realizing that nobody starts at 6 figures out of college), do your thing and move on. |
