I recently completed my first year and then promptly quit 2 weeks ago, as far as pay goes I did hit a little over $30,000 after my tour of duty w/ the ERAC. I also worked 55-60 hour weeks, and when I took 2 days off consecutively w/o any choice time or vacation left, my pay check for two weeks was a little over $500. The only way you will hit $30,000 is with lots of OT.

They always throw out 30K or more, but just ask them to break it out for you hourly. They try to hide that from you, because you can make more babysitting.
I love the bonuses and all the clauses they throw in.....you can make 35K with a car sale, employee referral, and walk on the moon.

In So Cal...in 2005 the starting pay was 10.55/hr. Everyone works AT LEAST 10 hrs a day 5 days a week and an additional 4 hrs every other week on a Saturday.

Regular 8hr day you get $84 a day which equals to 20,256 before taxes. So if this were a job where you pulled normal hours, not 8 hrs every day, but an 8hrday mixed with a few 10-12 hr days, you wouldnt be making close to 26k a year.

But since you work overtime garunteed every day, you make an extra 31-47 bucks a day. So if you make an extra $47 a day that means your hours are from 7-7 (11 hrs of work) with an hour lunch.
This avergages out to be roughly 84+39= 123/day which is 29,520/year...and that is before taxes. Now that is garunteeing you will work atleast 10.5 hrs every day.

Looking at a job that actually offers a 30k salary with normal working hours, you figure you get paid 15.6/hr once you break it down. If you were to pull ERAC hours on a normal 30k job you would make about 44k a year. That does not include any employee refferals either.

After you skill you get paid 11.03 which is 21,000 a year before taxes on a normal 8 hour day.

With the same overtime calculation you get $31,000/ year before taxes at 10.5 hrs/day...thats after about 5-8 months of working there.

It was at this pay point I quit...ERAC Likes to calculate in your yearly salary that you will work 10.5 hrs a day, make at least 3-4 car sale referrals in a year (which are $200 that is taxed like no other) and 1-2 employee referrals a year which is (1k for the first, 1.5k for the second and 2k from the 3rd on). Now it is really hard to reffer a person unless they are your friend, and I would never refer a friend to this job. The car sale refferal only works if the sales rep gets the sale, and we both know how often those guys sell cars.

But their idea of salary is your hourly pay, plus your overtime, plus the assumption you will get a few car sale and employee refferals.

My current employer did not include employee referrals into my salary, most jobs don't, but they do pay you for doing so. ERAC will do anything they can to mask the crappy pay. Don't be fooled.

Here is the real deal: You are guaranteed 30K per year BEFORE TAX IF you skill and Grill in your first year... NO ONE MAKES 32K in their first year. That is a load of CRAP! If you don't pass your skill and grill in your first year, you are out of luck...and get whatever you made for your first year. If you do pass both, then you are guaranteed to make at least 30K, BUT MOST employees do NOT either skill and/or grill, so it doesn't become a PAY issue for Enterprise. NY MT's were making about 28K give or take. Most times, skill tests were run late, and grills later, which made many employees miss their guarantees. How convenient... right?

I get paid $10.67 an hour which I think is standard in most groups. I work somewhere between 50 to 55 hours a week and pull in a thousand every paycheck. You then get $250 for passing the skills test (automatic) then $750 for passing your grill.
